Exactly.

The difference comes when you're already beaten. It's one thing if you're stride for stride w the guy, beside him. That happens often, and unless you just horribly misjudge the timing of your tackle, you wouldn't see that called as a foul/red in real life.

When you're behind someone and their arm reaches out and their guy turns halfway around as he's sprinting, that's pulling on the shoulder/shirt. That's cheese. And unless you have a lenient ref, that's gonna be a red.

Let's get the rest of these games open and a deadline in place. If guys can't get their games in, then lets replace them and move on.

I'm going to reiterate this:

IF YOUR OPPONENT HAS A BREAKAWAY, YOU ARE NOT TO TRY TO TAKE HIM DOWN OR PULL ON HIS SHIRT TO PREVENT IT. Whether you get sent off or even called for the foul is irrelevant, it's the intent that matters. It's cheesy as all hell, and it has no place in this league.

I've had three complaints now--two about the same owner--and it will no longer be tolerated. If I get any more complaints, I'm going to start handing out punishments. Just because the ref may not call the shirt pull doesn't mean you can keep doing it.

It's one thing to quit and be up front about it... it's another to just drag along, not let people know that you're not interested and never play. I can respect someone quitting because they don't have the time or have lost interest. But don't be a douche and just disappear and not respond to PM/PSN/AIM/Posts.

Cdub will be taking over Napoli. We may have another team opening up today or tomorrow if I don't see some more effort from people.

Cdub:

Go to team management, club transfers.

Transfer the player roster I gave you last night onto Napoli; and then transfer Napoli's players to "Free Agents" (minus one, you'll have to keep 17 outfield players on the Napoli roster so just keep the crappiest one)

Then save your roster file.

Also, go to the NDL2 site and request to join the FIFA league.

Yeah, I'm probably gonna run a standard FIFA league team next time around, but depending on how many get the PS4 it might be on there.

That's the problem. A bunch of us will have one, a bunch will have another. I'll have both, so we'll see what we can do.
