It isn't fun. I had to shovel my driveway twice yesterday (I don't own a snowblower ) and this morning I could feel my nosehairs freezing when I would breathe.

Up here north of Boston, about 15 minutes from New Hampshire, we only got 12 to 14 inches. However, some places closer to the water got over 2 feet. And it is negative -15 wind chill. Good times up here in the Northeast.

The one that that annoys me is everyone up here complaining about. It isn't like this weather is a surprise.

I took my dog out to pee earlier. The snow was so cold that she was shifting from paw to paw while trying to squat. If Monday turns out like they're saying I'll have to hold her up in the air and break frozen piss off her butt.

I read an article with estimates of the windchill for that game on Sunday, and the most extreme one estimated it at -37 degrees.

I can't even fathom being hit by some big lineback or Dlinemen at full speed when it's 40 degrees out, much less -37, that is just insane.

I'd really like to feel what in the world -37 feels like...and then I'd like to be instantly transported right back to Central Florida and my 75 degree winters.

Another winter storm heading towards Indiana and Ohio.....Wind chills are expected to be -40/-50 Monday morning.

My brother said 10inches but hard to tell cause of the drifting...

Born and raised and Florida when it gets cold here for us, like 40s,its not even the cold that's bad. It's the wind.

Is it the same in those crazy areas you guys are? I've been in 20s no wind in Georgia and it was nice.

I wont say it is not a possibility, but very rare that ever happens.
Our particular house is so old, built in 1928, as is most in this neighborhood, there is no insulation in the walls or attic, so most of the snow melts off our roof due to the all of the heat escaping.

But most houses can handle quite a bit of snow before it would ever become a concern.
