Wasn't expecting to win game 1 but when you come that close after being at such a disadvantage on the pitching matchup, that hurts.

Woulda been an overwhelming favorite if we pulled it out. Now, no margin for error.

ESPN was on their game with the chicks in the crowd:

Roles are somewhat reversed tomorrow. Gators will start a guy with 1 start all year, and LSU will send the all time winningest pitcher in LSU history to the mound.

Should be able to take that one but...baseball! Ya never know.

The aforementioned LSU starter tomorrow is Jared Poche, speaking of....

LSU was -145 last night, surprisingly given the pitching situations.

Supposedly, it's up around -225 or something for tonight. Setting up for the big letdown!!!

was a good watch. I streamed it in the background. Makes me wish i was American so bad. Be so fun to play in those games. I announced University hardball in Canada and I shit you not, I could play vs these guys. It was brutal. Pitches maybe topped 70mph lol

LSU put on a display of some of the worst base running I've ever seen possibly in the span of 48 hours. They didn't deserve any victories and snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

Florida did it early and had like 7 hits in the first 2 innings and left 7 or 8 on.

LSU did it late.

What a tense game that seemed to have a wall in front of home plate for LSU in the 7th and 8th inning

Yep, 2 nights in a row we killed ourselves on the bases. 3 errors in the 1st 2 innings tonight didn't help either.

Tough to lose 2 games 4-3 and 2-1. Bats went cold, we just blew it. We were a decent bit better than UF IMO, but f'ed it up at the worst time.

I went real quick to get my dog from the backyard after the 1st "run scored" in the 7th to tie up. I was sooo happy, had such a pep in my step. Came back to some major confusion.

LSU playing Oregon St. 1st inning in the field, LSU had 2 outs and no one on. 1st inning LSU at the plate had the bases loaded with no outs.

LSU after the 1st inning, down 2-0. Because baseball...well that and Oregon St is better than us.

That was some short lived excitement on the regionals for you this year eh? LOL
