God creates man -- God allows slavery -- man abolishes slavery -- God condemns homosexuality -- man abolishes God -- man allows homosexuality.jsence2 wrote:Slavery was never condemned in the Bible. However, God never stated that is was necessary. Man abolished slavery. God has condemned homosexuality. It's apples and oranges.
Perfect logic!

Well this would work if not for the fact that we evolved from apes (a species like many, many animals in nature where homosexuality and bisexuality is common).jsence2 wrote:This would hold some water if not for the fact that God created woman as a companion to man. He created woman so that man would have someone with whom to share a life with. If He had wanted a man to be with a man, He would have made it to where men could procreate together.
I'm all for believing in a higher power to help explain that which is unexplainable (the first spark of life, the origin of the Big Bang, etc). When scientific proof can show evolution without a doubt, I find it hard to believe that anyone still follows the story of the Garden/Adam and Eve.
I mean, are people also going to start claiming dinosaurs didn't exist and the bones are all fake?
