late pitches are bullshit.

Anyone who doesn't dive after them is lying to themselves because the defense still does the stupid swarming thing and the AI just makes the other defenders stop going after the ball and it almost always results in a big play.

It's not the computer's fault that you pitch late, it's the human not hitting the pitch button early enough to avoid this. So quit making excuses

There are ton's of things on this game that are unexplicable bullshit. My tight end fumbles while laying on the ground my last game I just lost, should I expect my opponent to punt the ball back to me because of the EA ineptness? No I don't expect it, nor am I diving if I happen to get a pitch off late. The same goes when I get sacked for a 12 yard loss when I've been mashing the shit out of the "O" button for 3 secs. I am sure I'll get my sack yardage back if I explain that the game caused it. Bottom line, this game is 10 times better than last years. However each addition has hiccups, and this one is no exception. It is what it is.

As far as glitched game play goes for all these seasons this is prob the most well put post.

If something via EA screws you I am sorry for you but for every EA glitch one will be coming my way.

To me its the same with game play. I am gonna scramble with my QB if you drop 8 a lot and no one opens up. And you know what? I expect you to do the same to me. I still will never get throwing the ball away with a clear running lane ahead of you.

Not to rehash this debate, but I just saw this response after a bump or two today.

It just seems to me that if you're going to pitch late on purpose, which is certainly do-able after you're hit cuz you can still mash the button then, then why not use the guess run glitches and loop defenders because it's basically the same thing. Yes, sometimes it's tough to do the pitch early enough, but if you run option at all and you want to be str8 about it it's very easy. You have to want to not do bullshit on pitches. When you are running into ppl you either pitch early and take your 4-yard gain or w/e, or you don't pitch at all because you get hit too early. It's a 1 or 2 situation, but it pisses me off because the risk with pitching it late is nothing like the reward of getting it off when the defenders on that side of the field all suddenly go after the qb that's sprawled on the ground.

This needs to be bumped. We have 6-8 new people or people who are returning to us. Things have changed a little, rules have changed.

You ALL should have read the rules upon joining the league and will all be held to the standard as if you have read and know them

It wouldnt hurt the vets to brush up on them as well.
