C-Nasty it was before you was part of NDL-Florida....Since you joined its got a little cooler...but still couldnt fuck with NDL-TexASS!

The early years of the Dallas classic was sweet. Tstep would spend about 300 bucks on the thing. He had shirts made up and trophies...We would always get drunk and never finish the tourney.

Tstep, Fatt-Matt, Ank, RubberBand, there was like 3-4 more but really dont remember them. Oh how the memory goes when you get old!

As for the boards, I like the way AJ and others let shit play out.

100% true.

One of our main goals for each of us has been to treat everyone like grown men and allow "debates" in that they are good for the league and we do want to hear everyone's opinion...even if we dont agree with them.

I think 99% of the time AJ, Mike and myself have stayed impartial to disagreements and posted on how we will handle something in what we think is best for the league.

Back in the day Jeff would have deletd / moved a SHITLOAD of threads that we let go on nowadays.

I disagreed with Jeff but I can certainly see why he would delete all the negative shit...it just creates bad morale. It also gave those 1st 6 seasons (4 under Jeff, 2 under me) a view from behind Rose colored glasses since there were never many threads that got out of hand.

With all the gloryfying of those seasons, I must say I'm SERIOUSLY considering going back to limiting the board banter/negatvity.

If thats what the league wants, thats what the league can have. As always, we will just try to do whats best for all 120 guys or at least more of them than less of them since there will never be a consensus opinion on intangible parts of the league like this

I think NDL Florida was started one faithful night in 2005(I think) at an ACC Championship game by 4 NDL guys.

And the rest is history.

I say as long as the thread isnt bashing anyone or a group of people (ie, the powers that are) or how the league is ran then I say let it go. Its always interesting to see how people respond to different situations. Maybe I'm the only one but I love the debates about play styles and the different features of the game.

I know I have come to the conclusion that I would never play certain people because of what I have read on the boards by them. I use the boards to get an idea of someones character and base whether I want to play them in OOC games by that.
