If you previously offered him and didn't withdraw it, then the offer was still out there, whether or not he told you he liked it.
i thought the barnes deal was reasonable too with his history...ajalves wrote:Uuaww wrote:and AJ has locked up 2 of the 3 big 3 pitchers with massive deals. .

if you don't go back to him with any new offers, he wont react to anything.steelcitychaos wrote:ReignOnU wrote:No.

Honestly this is a lesson learned because I didnt know if your offer a contract and it is not accepted that it continues to stay on the players radar. When I checked the pending offers it still had the options of submitting, so I didnt hit submit and just left it and did not hit withdraw.
I do have a follow up question,
At the beginning of FA Season I offered Kenko Matsui an offer and it was not accepted same scenario as pacheco as far as the options, after that intial offer i did not offer him another contract but never withdrew it, how come I never received any emails up until he signed updating me on his contract negotiation?

but if he doesn't like anything else, his demands might go down. if his demands go down and you stilll have an offer out there to him that now meets his demands, he'll consider your old offer again.
after his initial reaction, you should only recieve a new update/email when a guy who you offered signs with someone.
Could be many answers to that question.steelcitychaos wrote:ReignOnU wrote:No.

why anyone waives players (other than salary dumps) before the end of ST is beyond me. You have a chance to store them in your minors as thats the easiest sim to pass them through.nick wrote:finally done my off season shopping.. 15 or so batters and 20 pitchers will be going into spring training trying to earn a spot.
