Bell is back. That's great.
Maybe you Pitt fans that are connected can enlighten me here..but why not stick with a QB that played the entire preseason and several years in your system. Why go to a off the street pickup?
With the running game you have you need someone to get the ball down the field. While Vick throws a pretty ball, he's not scaring anyone with his ability in the passing game. I was just a bit perplexed by that decision.

I got a good laugh out of the commentary on that one last night.

Pittsburgh shit the bed on many occasions last night. I had the game on live and left the room with about 4min to go, assuming it was over. When I walked back in, it was 20-20 with 739 to go in OT. I ended up rewinding it on the DVR to see how the hell they managed to piss it away again. I say again because it should have been well wrapped up before I left the room.

our backup got hurt (Gradkowski)
Landry Jones was 3rd string and is a complete shitbum.
Vick was a 'hope we never have to use him' addition who has experience.
i thought played about as well as we can expect him to play last night, he didn't turn the ball over and he made some decent throws. the guy stinks so if you get that type of performance you gotta be content.

Thanks. I always forget about gradkowski. When I saw Landry play preseason he had a few decent outings numbers wise and assumed he was second and Gradkowski third.

Used to see him out at parties when I'd visit my friends at Toledo. Never really looked like an NFL QB in person.

I need to find my friend's recent photo with Andy Dalton... looks more like Landry Clarke than an NFL QB.

Beckham did the 1 handed diving catch again. Not quite as many style points as the one from last season...oh and he was out of bounds lol.
A ridiculous catch nonetheless.

The missed kicks this year have been atrocious. unfathomable that a person getting paid for just one thing, that has he entire year to get good at that one thing, and who gets payed handsomely to do said thing can be so bad at that one thing.

Just happened to NO... 30 yarder. I can kick a 30 yarder, easily too.

So apparently there should have been a flag on the play when the Seattle player swatted the ball out of the end-zone. I was watching the game and told my boy what a heads up play that was
It's crazy to me with all the technology they can't just buzz the refs down on the field (especially under two minutes) and simply make the right call. Makes zero sense to me.
