On another note...Landry Jones came in and ran shit today. With all the preseason work he got I thought he should of been in there the whole time. Wonder what they do next week.

they keep in Landry unless Ben can play.
no shot they go back to Vick. Landry looks like Montana compared to Vick, the problem with him is limiting mistakes. As bad as Vick was he really wasn't turning the ball over. granted he didn't throw the ball more than 6 inches down field, but still it kept them in games.

Someone should be fired for this call.
I just picture someone drawing up this play in the dirt like some 6 year Olds playing in the back yard and another 6 year old saying, "this is going to totally work!"

I'm sure the dude wasn't supposed to snap the ball based on the defensive formation... but he did, not good.

The other guy wasn't expecting the snap since the ball was in his hands for a few moments after the guy hiked it. Then after the play he was looking at the other guy like WTF?

I think they were expecting the Pats to call a timeout, but when they didn't, they panicked. The kicker is, they didn't even line up correctly. The official announced illegal formation "the entire right side" or something to that effect not being on the line of scrimmage.

There's an article on PFT where Whalen (the "center") said he wasn't supposed to snap it. Once they lined up and the Pats covered it, they were supposed to just take the delay. He basically said it was his bad. That's why the "qb" didn't know what the hell to do when he got the ball.

I guess that Stanford degree doesn't always help out in crunch time.

How much longer can San Francisco afford to keep throwing Kaep out there on offense? I don't know if they do, but is there another QB on their roster with NFL ability? The guy is an amazing athlete, and has had success from time to time, but holey cow he is terrible. Seattle's offensive line is atrocious. And I laugh at the arguments that Unger/Graham trade is the root of the problem. Unger was hurt most of 2013 and 2014 and the backup center got them to the Super Bowls. I don't even think Unger played in the divisional rounds in those two seasons, but I don't know. Seattle will be lucky to make the playoffs this year, just don't have the horses on the line.

I'm going to my first Colts game Sunday. They play the Saints. I hope they've got all the trick plays out of their system.
