I wouldn't even bet you on this. I'm sure he will be the one fighting Connor

Aldo is going to run himself out of the UFC. He is always getting hurt in training camp and postponing fights. Gets offered to take on the guy that KO'd you in 18 seconds you gotta get in there and try to redeem yourself. Maybe he has an injury also

Not a fan of the BJ Penn site but they are reporting it's Nate Diaz. Like I said, if it's the same Nate Diaz we saw against Johnson this could be a decent fight. At least I am hoping so

It's official. It'll be Nate Diaz, potentially at WW
Gives the UFC the opportunity for a potential Lawler / MacGreggor fight if Connor gets thru Diaz and RDA.
If it was going to be at WW, why not pit him against Wonderboy Thompson? That would be a fun striking match to watch

Like Cerrone... there's no lack of material for this one either.
So the 145 champ decided to go fight the 155 champ. The 155 champ backed out, so the 145 champ decided he should just move on up to 170 to fight a fairly talented fighter.
I think this fight actually outsells the original matchup, even though it's not a title shot and it's probably an easier fight for him. The 1 issue here is that he's risking a lot for the financial gain and massive image boost of being the man that takes any fight. If he clearly loses to Diaz, it brings into question his ability to fight up in higher classes going forward. His 155 title chase may get put on hold.
It's a Diaz... so NSFW language.

I am actually pretty excited to see this one. If Diaz looks like the Johnson fight Diaz then Connor, and his fans, are in for a rude awakening.

Wtf was Diaz thinking at that press conference... Lucky he even got the fight, then throws the entire UFC under the bus with no facts to back up an empty claim. McGregor destroys him the entire time

that was great. they edited out some parts, who was Diaz referring to that could beat McGregor's ass at 145? Pointed to his left and said I got a homeboy here that could do it

Nate is a specially level of stupid. He reminds me so much of a guy I grew up with... looks like him, acts like him and even talks like him.
Full Conference if you want to listen to it below.
McGregor says he ends him by the end of the first, among other things. (Nate has red panty night with Nick, lol)

He also explained why he took Nate of Cerrone. Both fighters have a recent loss to RDA, Nate's was a decision. Nate also has a win over Cerrone.
16:40 mark he also explains that he doesn't prepare for specific opponents... basically what I mentioned earlier.

I think Silva got robbed. At worst it should have been a draw with the 3rd round being a 10-8 round after the KO at the end of the round

Silvas a shell of his former self. Bisping won that fight.

Fighting Robbie Lawler would be the worst thing that could happen to McGregor. Dana would be an idiot to put that fight on. Lawler will beat his brains in.
