Bosh officially done for year. horrible news.

Supposedly his condition isn't life threatening which is great considering Kersey passed of blood clots in lungs. not a doctor or have any idea if that is something that can even be compared but the fact they even need to report its not life threatening is scary.

blood clots in the lungs is a very serious thing. blood clots in general are not good for u. I did quick google search and saw something like 25% mortality rate with blood clots. that might be a lil high though.

Without know what the exact numbers are, blood clots that travel to the lungs (pulmonary embolism) are always an emergency, and those patients get sent immediately to the ICU (at least at the facility I work, cant really speak for others). Theyre a big deal

We had a player forced out with blood clots when I was Cleveland. He was done for the year. He came back, and then it happened again, and they basically forced him to retire. Sucks, he was my age too, so it was kinda creepy.

Just watched the Rockets/Cavs highlight from last night. That play in OT when Lebron is guarding Harden its LOL bad by the officials to not blow a whistle on either guy for a foul or a travel. What in the hell was going on there?

That was amazing. I only saw it once and didn't know what it would be, so I couldn't tell if it was an obvious foul on Lebron or Harden hooking Lebron's arm, but someone had to get a foul there, and if not, the travel.

I think NBA refs have the toughest job officiating, but some of the things they miss sometimes are pretty bizarre. Just the other day I was watching a video, maybe someone can find it, if the shot that changed the rules on reviewing buzzer beaters. It was a 3 pointer from Baron Davis that was seriously out of his hands and probably half way to the goal when the buzzer went off, and the one ref waved it off, it was nuts.

last few games Spo has been making some comments about him in the media that seemed to be suggesting he's causing issues. then last night he just cross checked Olynyk and got thrown out of game. his big issue coming into the league was his maturity, crazy to think he still hasn't learned his lesson.
