Wife is looking at getting a new vehicle, probably over due as she has had her 2006 Altima since brand new. At first her list included the Audi Q5, Infinity (something 60), Buick Enclave, BMW X5. I told her to look at the Grand Cherokee and she said no way, they are ugly. I knew she wasn't thinking of the new one as they are sexy as hell. So we drove around yesterday, car dealers are closed on Sundays here, and looked at vehicles. She has narrowed her search down to (in order):
Anyone have any experience with any of these vehicles? Good or bad? Doesn't have to be the same year but at least the same model, I believe the Grand Cherokee changed body style in 2013 or 2014.
We also looked at this Land Rover Discovery Sport for shits and giggles.
I just bought a 2014 Nissan Versa Note. Got a great deal b/c the dealer accidently sold me the wrong car.

I saw that, I hope they sell me the wrong Cherokee, getting the Hemi instead of the Penstar.

I haven't owned any of those models, but I loved my Jeep and won't hesitate to purchase another in the future.
Out of curiosity, have you had a white vehicle before? I noticed 2 of them on your list are white. I have... and I never will again. They go from white to brown/gray in a hurry.

The wife HAS to have a white vehicle. I told her to look at grey or silver. She said she would entertain a black vehicle also. She doesn't know what she is getting into
Ask for Chris, aka Spydie. He will not let you down.
That is a little far away for me

He ships and the savings is usually worth it. Or at least I have found. Not to mention the buying experience.

Black and White are two of the best looking when they are clean....for the 30 seconds it lasts.
IMO, Silver is the best at not showing the dirt.

I don't know about that. My white Mustang didn't show dirt at all unless you were very close looking for it. Black on the other hand shows any dirt or blemish. It looks the best when clean but I'll never own another black vehicle.

Yeah, very hard to keep clean. I have GMC Denali and I tried to stay up on cleaning it, even hand waxing. But man, alot of work.

Anything other than white or silver gets a no from me. Winters in particular are rough for dark colors

Currently considering trading my loved 2013 Ram 1500 for a R/T Durango or a Chevy Tahoe.
Any owners of either with input?
Just not sure if I am ready to pull the trigger on not having a truck.
Insert new car joke, corey, etc etc.

Check out the Grand Cherokee as well. Not sure of your price range but the wife got hers for 6k under MSRP.

I had one about 3 years ago. Loved it and it's on the list as well but they cost just as much as a Durango R/T with much less room and options.
Leaning Durango versus Tahoe for looks and of course big price difference but the Tahoes are so roomy.

Seriously? That's awesome! I have so many questions, of love to be able to ditch a car, but not terribly realistic considering my job and location
