Re: Random Discussions
Met Jason's buddy today at the Barclays. Normally wouldn't bother for a pic but I figured I'd get one for Jay since he's a UK guy.

Re: Random Discussions
He was very nice. I first saw him over by our production tent at 18 with the last few groups coming through, and some people started recognizing him and asked for pics. He obliged, and eventually the PGA staff took him to a box. He was chatting with the random guys that asked him for a pic before me for a few minutes about this and that. Seemed real nice and didn't seemed to be bothered by the attention.

So that's two NDL guys with UK draft picks at high-profile events in two years, following Dave with Randle last year. Hopefully KAT has better luck

Only thing worthwhile about that article is that it mentions Run the Jewels. Ive been playing RTJ and RTJ2 on repeat in the car, when i work out, and when i mow on repeat for 2 months now. If i could get away with listening to it at work I would.

I remembered reading about the case being reopened... I think it was a foregone conclusion by long time WWE(F) fans that Snuka did this.

Not only should the two idiots NEVER be allowed to play organized football ever again at any level, I agree with some who have suggested that the entire team be made to forfeit their season. A message has to be sent that this can never be tolerated. That man could've been not only severely injured, but could have been paralyzed by the second hit, or even killed. I hope they prosecute them to the fullest extent, although I'm sure with how much HSFB is loved down there, someone will get them off with a slap of the wrist.
I also agree with one ESPN personality (Bob Valvano) who said this morning that the NFL culture of "do what you want, you'll only get a game or two suspension, if that" mentality has led to things like this.

I think that may be a little harsh, tough to penalize 60 other kids because of a couple bozos. That being said, Id have no problem with them facing criminal chargesjsence2 wrote:Not only should the two idiots NEVER be allowed to play organized football ever again at any level, I agree with some who have suggested that the entire team be made to forfeit their season.

The rationale was, the whole team gets a trophy if they win, and the school and the coaching staff allowed the two guys on the team. By forfeiting the entire season, it sends an message of zero tolerance and instills an urgency in coaching staffs around the state of Texas that they have to make sure their players are disciplined enough to not do something this stupid.
Is it harsh on the ones who had nothing to do with it? Certainly. But I think at this point, harsh punishment is needed to send a message as we now have a culture that sees kids thinking it's ok to do something like this simply because of a bad call and a loss.
EDIT: the other reason I'm with the thought of "punish the whole team" is that their teammates are supporting their actions on social media, which means punishing just the two doesn't send a message in this situation.

They should be charged with assault. I don't think jail serves anybody any good, but they def need to be charged and punished.
Again, the man had no way to protect himself, and when you spear someone with a helmet, you're putting their life at risk. The idiot could've hurt his own neck doing that as well.

Penalizing innocent people under the guise of sending a message is silly,to put it nicely.

I agree. Those two clowns should be charged with assault though. They could have easily killed that guy.shel311 wrote:Penalizing innocent people under the guise of sending a message is silly,to put it nicely.

It might be, but if they are condoning the actions of their teammates, are they truly innocent?
