I liked Cowboy Cerrone saying he would bend him over and knock the ducking lucky charms out of him. Definitely a fight I would love to see, especially if both win the title in their upcoming fights.

The VA sucks! Been on hold over 30 minutes just to get my login reset for the 3rd time. It just randomly drops me out of the system for some reason, no wonder people are dying trying to get care. This should be an easy thing to fix, unlike cancer. I think they have 1 person taking all the calls, and she is probably deaf with arthritis in her hands

Ill be here at least part of it. If your schedule allows lets get together for a meal and some drinks. not sure what your schedule is like and for how long you will be here but I would guess almost the entire week right?Whittness10 wrote:TFan... Got stung Sunday morning on the 3rd hole out of 36 for the day... the reaction wasn't too bad. Someone had some benedryl on them, so I popped 2 as a precautionary measure. (no idea if it actually helped or not) I never saw what actually got me. During the day I noticed a bunch of sweat bees throughout the course and a few great black wasps, but those typically aren't threatening. Talk about punishment for hitting a ball over the green.

Yep... I'll be in town on the 25th and I'll head back home on the 31st. Hotel room is in Woodland Hills (I think that's what it's called). Sound familiar?texasfan4444 wrote:Ill be here at least part of it. Awesome move by PK Subban...
P.K. Subban is giving back to the city he now calls home.
The Canadiens defenseman is donating $10 million to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation in what the hospital is calling "the biggest philanthropic commitment by a sports figure in Canadian history."
Subban also committed to a seven-year fundraising project for the hospital.
"Montreal has become my second home," Subban said Wednesday. "Montrealers have taken me into their hearts. And I hope to remain here for a very long time.
"My love for Montreal is why I wanted to make a significant contribution to this city and to this province."
As part of the donation, the hospital named its atrium after Subban.
"The P.K. Subban Atrium is not only my footprint to the city but, more importantly, it is my sole promise to give back to those who have given me so much," he said.
The partnership will also see the creation of P.K.'s Helping Hand, a fund dedicated to assisting vulnerable families financially hurt by a child's illness.
The 26-year-old Subban is a Toronto native who helped Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2014 Olympics. He has played all six of his NHL seasons in Montreal, which drafted him in 2007, and is a two-time All-Star.
Subban signed an eight-year deal with the Habs worth a reported $72 million in 2014.

the story about the kid with the clock breaks my heart and then the reaction from people who are reaching out to him after makes me realize that good can always overcomes bad.

I don't know all the details, but it is kind of a no win situation. Seems like they went overboard, obviously. But on the flip side, if his teacher just said, "ok, it's a clock, no biggie." and it turns out it wasn't just a clock, imagine the outrage then.
But that's obviously irrelevant to what the poor kid has had to go through.

I wish that was the only reaction he was getting. One well-followed RWNJ posted that she would never support any Muslims and posted a plane going into the towers. Fourteen years ago. You know, when this kid was an infant.
