Tried it and it is telling me I need to import from '17. Never had this happen before when I had to do a fresh install. Any ideas?

I had to fresh install recently. I had completely removed 17, so when I reinstalled I was prompted the same thing. I was surprised but I just used the import 17 file button it worked just fine.

It's looking for the '17 world.dat file when I do that and it didn't work

I am just now really getting in to this draft list and this is far and away the worst draft class since I have been in this league

Anyone have any other ideas to get me up and rolling?

Yeah that is a bit of a dissapointment

any shot pitchers develop 3rd pitches more in this version of the game ?

It happened a but last version actually just super rare. In general it seems to be more an extra pitch coming out if nowhere instead of a shitty third pitch improving

thats what i meant. if the majority of draftable pitchers dont seem to have 3rd pitches i was wondering if maybe with a good pitching coach or good intangibles they'd get a new 3rd pitch to pop up as they advanced. i know it didn't happen often in past.

Same here.

Looked solid at first when I was just looking at potential ratings, but once I got into it, not a good year to have a ton of picks at the top like I do.

also I think comp picks were fixed so if you don't sign them you lose them. shel and dubs have alllllll the luck.

I don't know about Dub's but my four 1st rounders and 2 additional 2nd rounders are all legit, none would be taken away even if '18 fixed that bug.

his are too, but I think if you don't sign them this round you are screwed. that is the mlb rule.

1 game he he went 5 innings, gave up 7 runs, and left with a 6 run lead.

The 5th starter position is almost like a try out if you will.

If you succeed, you get to stay on the team. If you don't, you get cut and traded
