2014 R/T edition
I looked at the Citadel model and it has more options but was too chrome-y for my liking if you will. This one sits lower to the ground, sportier suspension and engine, as well as it looks much better imo.
It has some great pick up and the sound of the Hemi and the exhaust is rather girthy.

I would really look into getting into the '14 model if you can.
Updated design
transition to an 8 speed which really changes this engine, V6 as well
Better ride and MPG
You can get a great deal on the '14s right now but it may require some searching.
The 8 speed alone is worth the '14 vs the '13.

Yea the 14s are at a big discount for less than a year old currently. Once the '16 is released in the spring you may see some big drops if not sooner. Depends on when they announce it.
'13s are still nice but trust me, the consensus is that dodge got it right with the 8 speed in the '14 and '15 models and worth holding out for one. Took me about a month to find this one in the R/T package k wanted. Lots of limited and citadel versions but the RT is a little tougher.

I like how you guys actually plan out your car buying experiences. My last 3 cars have been impulse buys. I wasn't even looking for a car. I was on vacation this last time. My bro in law was car shopping and I just went along for the ride. I ended up buying a car and he didn't.

If you asked my wife she would say all of my posted buys here are impulse buys
This was the only car that she actually saw before we got it.

I researched for months for my last car purchase, and ended up buying a rebuilt title. Saved a shitload (roughly half) and its run like a charm with zero issues. The guy I bought it from buys em at auction and rebuilds (mostly cosmetic shit), I kept his number and will definitely be going back for my next one

Yes... definitely get the 8 speed transmission. It's a HUGE difference in both performance and efficiency.

100% agree!
Me and the wife both have Penstar Engines in our Jeeps. My '13 Wrangler has a 5 speed and her '15 Grand Cherokee has an 8 speed transmission. Her Jeep is heavier and is all wheel drive and still gets better gas mileage than mine, unless I ride around with my doors off which I do in the summer.

My wife was telling me that there is an issue with getting insurance. She used to sell insurance at Progressive.
You can get liability to be legal and cover other people (bodily injury and property damage liability, but you cannot get Comprehensive or Collision to cover the car itself.
Did you get a loan for the vehicle or pay cash?
Cause she was also mentioning, most banks will not give a loan on a salvage/rebuilt title.
Weasel, do you have "full coverage" for insurance?
If so, who did you go through?

Paid cash, but I think you're right in that it may be tough to get a loan. With insurance I just have basic PLPD, but I would have been able to get any coverage I wanted for the most part so that part wasn't an issue, through auto owners insurance

With the money you save on getting a salvaged car on a rebuilt title, it really doesn't matter if you don't have comprehensive coverage. You're buying that car at such a drastically reduced price.
