They weren't parties. These things center around three main issues:

1) That a graduate assistant at UofL allegedly paid a prostitute to perform services for players and their fathers
2) That a coach at UofL may have been providing the money
3) That the woman in question may have employed her then underage daughters as prostitutes

Yes, I don't like UofL. Yes, I'm a UK fan. But I've not found a single bit of this funny, and I've bashed those who have made jokes about it.

That said, this is going to bring down Pitino, there's no way he survives this. It could also bring down their national championship banner from 2013, would be hard to do, but these are not just improper benefits, you are looking at potentially statutory rape charges for the fathers and criminal activity being involved could lead to ineligibility issues.

The ONLY UK/UofL thing I take from this is all the UofL fans who always said that Cal should've known what his players were doing when he wasn't around (Camby taking money from agent, Rose cheating on his SAT) are tripping over themselves to defend Pitino "not knowing" anything

I think we all know #2 was most likely a booster or former player.

I do love that I was able to get a response out of you. As soon as I typed it and took off the Texas part I was fully expecting you to call me a racist or something.

If the death toll for this hurricane doesn't top 5,000 I will be utterly shocked

880 db atmospheric pressure in the eye, lowest recorded in history. The winds are strong enough to lift an airplane and keep it in flights.

Much better than the shit show mine turns out as. I've never been creative in the artistic sense and it doesnt help that I have very little patience for tedious carving either.

I'm surprised how low that number is. The storm formed pretty much formed over night not giving people the time to get out of there. Mexico did a great job of keeping their people safe

Agreed. It helped that the storm missed the bigger resort areas head on (like Puerto Vallerta) and weakened quickly once hitting land. The mudslides didn't happen as much as one may have expected. I'm glad the number was so low
