The difference in the talent level is just tremendous.

Re: 2013 College Football Season
The worst NFL teams are still able to be competitive in most of their games, even against the best NFL teams so a bad NFL team still beats a great college team with relative ease. It's not just the physical difference but the knowledge, skills, and professionalism that make a difference.

It's like when people were saying "Tim Tebow can play tight end" and I'd say, "No. Tight ends can't even play tight end in the NFL."
Re: 2013 College Football Season
ya that one bugged me too. Tebow would be a terrible TE at besttrendon wrote:It's like when people were saying "Tim Tebow can play tight end" and I'd say, "No. Tight ends can't even play tight end in the NFL."

Nevada and SDSU are going at it. Heck of a game.
Re: 2013 College Football Season
Make sure you get a chance to see what Jeremy Johnson of SMU did today, especially on the final drive.

Jameis Winston, nothing else needs to be said.

South Carolina led 21-0 with 40 seconds left in the second quarter
It's now 27-21 with just under 12 to go in the game. This could be a program-defining win if we can pull it off.

Wow. Apparently being able to count isn't required to be an NCAA ref.
A phantom "twelve men on the field" penalty helps SC ice the game. Oh well, one hell of a comeback, especially when this was our third straight ranked team played. We'll probably lose big to Bama at home next weekend, but I see very bright days ahead with this coaching staff and these young players. Stoops doesn't stand for anything but hard work and fight, and I love it.

The Washington/Stanford game, wow. What a way to lose.
I didn't think there was nearly enough there to overturn the catch.
