Reign, please tell me that we get new schedules this season?

I assume that we are considering a reorg happened, but Reign can confirm.

Whats the max number of players in the organization again?

I seem to have gaping holes in my minors for lack of players.

If it isn't the Talladega Knights, I'm gonna be pissed.

I think Plasma quit way before last week.

To put it into perspective, he had 99 guys in the entire organization.

What is old is new again

Albany - the most successful, non-commish manager in the OOTP history - is back in the midwest again. Albany, which is a short drive from Chicago, was shipped out east during the last relocation. Its nice to have him back in the midwest. Also, I just finished learning all the teams and owners and it looks like its back to studying the map for me. Maybe I will put together a flow chart to figure this out. One thing that seems to be consistent is relocation. I never understood why someone wants to move. The penalty for Fan Loyalty is massive.

Corey is in the OOTP again? When did this happen? What is the over and under on how long he stays?

All Roads Lead through Cincinnati

Its budget time again for things like scouting and player developement. For the last few years I have questioned the benefit of investing the maximum amount in international scouting. It seems like few quality guys are found and those that do, immediately get a ratings drop. So I started to look around to see if anyone has had any success. After looking through the list of international players, I have come to the conclusion that Reign is the luckiest manager in our brief history. Cincinnati has had more quality Internationals than the rest of the league combined. Not sure what it is about Cincinnati, but its airport must have the laxest immigration.

I am very glad I dont have to play baseball in April-May and September-October in:
- North Minnesota
- Vancouver
- South Dakota
- Omaha
Has anyone ever heard of a roof? It is going to be interesting to see which guys end up with the most injuries. Early favorite has to be North Minnesota.

Government Bailout Time

Looking at some teams, there are a few that are deep in the hole financially. Here are the worse cash positions to start the year.

Honolulu - $111,000,000 in debt
Steel City - $89,000,000 in debt
New England - $32,000,000 in debt
Talladega (?) - $29,000,000 in debt
Sheltown - $18,000,000 in debt
Lake Elsinor (?) - $15,000,000 in debt
Miami - $15,000,000 in debt

It will be interesting to see how long before those teams get back in the black.

I created an AIM Buddy List for OOTP.
Download the file, the import the buddy list into your AIM program.

I then have a spreadsheet picture of the divisions, with our forum names, a name we go by and then our aim address, just incase you need it.

Salas is a 45 by your scout? I could use some stud SPs....

I still don't understand the "trick" that Ted and Reign know to find these prospects. I tried based on what I was told on how they find em, and I never found a single one.

I scout every country in the first 4 tiers at a cost of about 28 mil a year.

oh and for the randomly signed ones, I have a filter on FA for all players not born in the US and under the age of 24. if someone appears there (likely a missed IFA from someone else), I sign them, regardless of ratings... first thing I check every sim.

This, I did something wrong here.

Awesome info bear. Good read. It made me think about how much I've spent on scouting in the last few seasons, so I grabbed the financial file... in 7 seasons, I've spent $200,419,906. Nearly $30m per year. The average, not included my team during that same time span is $14.8m per season.

There's a lot of interesting trends in the financial stuff, but it's not in a very clean format to be able to create some cool historical reports with it. Maybe one of these days this Spring, when I'm a little slow at work, I'll put it in order and throw it out there.

All looks good but my stadium name and size did not change.

I'll assess whether I want to have a dome after the season.

That's all there is to it. It just takes diligence and doing it every single sim. They won't last long out there. In fact, there was one last sim... of course, he's not very bright because he signed with nick instead of me.

I have signed 3-4 per year, but havent had much luck. The few with good ratings drop right away. Cant figure out how to get them to stick.

Also, good news for the AL. You wont have to see NY in the finals this year. Vancouver is ready to rule the AL for the forseable future. That is the NLs gift to you.

I'd say that's normally the case. Hernandez is the one I hang my hat on... he's the only one that my scout has found, that has had any impact at the ML level for me. Seto, the kid in PO, could be a good, long time player, but even he dropped from his original potential. The other one that is pretty much a lock to hit looks like Esparza... he actually came through free agency.
