Great deal for Titans.
Always felt like it was in their best interest to stockpile picks and hated the idea of Tunsil at number 1 because of my own personal character concerns with him (he was with Nkemdiche the night he fell off the balcony drunk and high and was suspended for accepting brjbes). Dropping to 15 is a bit farther than I expected them to go but hopefully they can still nab Ronnie Stanley at that point if that's truly the guy they targeted where they to move down. Overall, hard not to like the move with no clear cut hall of fame talent in the draftBFiVL wrote:I feel like the Titans just trade raped the Rams
Titans trade 1st pick. 4th and a 6th rounders to Rams
Titans got 2 1st round picks. 2 2nds, 2 3rds.
Pretty happy. Titans have 6 picks in the first 76 picks this year.
Would probably make a ton of sense for the Browns as well since they'll probably be in the bottom 3 again next yearReignOnU wrote:I think it's a great move for them. I feel like there isn't a great top 2-3 players in this draft, but a really good top 20-25. I only wish the Browns would trade down as well.
Could you also see the Jets get involved with dangling Wilkerson and picks?ReignOnU wrote:I think the Wentz interest is a smokescreen. Rams moving back to LA and can have a Cal QB as the face of the franchise... I think it's for Goff.
Now if the Browns are smart, they start a bidding war between SF and Philly to move #2.
Watching the Titans maneuver the draft is infinitely more exciting than watching the Braves at this point in the year!BFiVL wrote:If someone falls toward the back half this year, Titans will package them 2s to move back in 1st. There is no guarantee they stay at 15. They could very easily move back up. First time in a while I am eager for a draft.

Did you finish typing that with a straight face? Be honest...ReignOnU wrote: Now if the Browns are smart,

My pro teams may suck. Thank god for the draft and spring football.

Is Blake Barnett competing for the starting job right now? I coached against him back to back seasons when he was in HS.

Wide open. BB has most upside but Saban has said him and the true frosh have struggled with being consistent. I figure Cooper Bateman gets the nod opening weekend.
Barnett had all the tools in HS. He's really big and really fast but has a super weird throwing motion and sometimes lack s accuracy. He did play in a spread though and I thought he was a much better pro-style type player even with his size and speed.BFiVL wrote:packsyd2284 wrote:BFiVL wrote:DRWebs wrote:Watching the Titans maneuver the draft is infinitely more exciting than watching the Braves at this point in the year!BFiVL wrote:If someone falls toward the back half this year, Titans will package them 2s to move back in 1st. I could not agree more.ReignOnU wrote:Now if the Browns are smart, they start a bidding war between SF and Philly to move #2.
