He just looks so much better at the plate than Middlebrooks. Very patient, great eye, and just approaches the AB differently.

Great move to finally make the switch even though it should have happened 2 games ago.

He sounds way different than the Xander I know. I just got a text saying my boys are playing a game where they take all the balls they can find outside and throw them up over the fence and into the pool, except Xander can't get the ball over the fence.

I'd prefer that Drew sit instead of Middlebrooks and move Bogaerts to short. I know they like the lefty/right matchup and Middlebrooks isn't hitting either, but Drew is just awful and I don't think Bogaerts will hurt them defensively at SS. Drew can't even get down a sac bunt.

Like really stink.

I think Drew will have a moment like his brother sometime here for us in these playoffs.

I really hope the Sox close it out tonight. Not that Scherzer is a push over, but Verlander scares the hell out if me in a potential game 7. I had to go pick up a new beer I found and like, Third Shift. I had one each night the Sox won and didn't when they lost. Whatever it takes!!!!

Awesome!

I agree with you. Never like a game 7 against an ace and not sure if Lackey can go back to back great starts like that.

I will be drinking around the world at Epcot today so will be nice and fresh for game time.
Go Sox!

I'm trying to go to Game 4 in St. Louis next Sunday, but is going to be tough since the wife and I are closing on a new house this Tuesday and were planning on moving in that weekend!
