Watching these videos of the auto pilot feature, the summon feature, and then the description you said above about the cabin noise or lack thereof is mind blowing to me.
I need to test drive one soon but then I think it may be a mistake considering how Tesla crazy I already am.
Still about a year away, but looking at eventually getting the wife a 4x4/AWD for the Michigan winters. Ideally enough room for a carseat and other shit that would typically come with a kid. Suggestions? Wife loves the Grand Cherokee Limited, but in my head it isnt a great bang for your buck option

Bought the wifey a '15 Grand Cherokee for her birthday. It is absolutely a great vehicle. The Penstar motor coupled with the 8 speed transmission is great. I would definitely recommend going that route. We were under MSRP by $6k, ended up getting the Limited for 35K

My issue is she wants all the bells and whistles that come with the limited. I wanted to steer her towards the Compass since it will do zero off roading and just needs to handle snow, but havent been successful just yet. Budget is closer to the $20k range so a new Limited probably isnt happening.

Good to know, looked into Explorer/Edge but the Durango never even crossed my head. I actually forgot they brought it back, I like the look of the new ones a lot

I'd race one if he wanted to. From the dig he'd jump out ahead but I'd reel him in and it'd be close. From a rolling start I'd probably beat him pretty soundly. My car is scary fast from 60-120 and it pulls hard all the way up to the speed limiter at 140.
Yeah.. that's what I was getting at with good V8s... they are just getting started at 80-100 mph. It's pretty senseless when you really think about it, but wow is it exciting.

Cadillac SRX has been money for us. Not too big but Still bigger than a Cherokee not as long as a Durango. All you can ask for from the luxury options. One of the reasons i steered away from the Durango was the dash and radio/temp control layout. Everything else was a go for me but not my wife. She thought it was too manly and not "nice" enough.
Wasn't sure whether to put it here or the random discussions thread, but...The ole ball and chain has a '12 Jeep Wrangler that experiences the death wobble or significant instability around 60 mph. About a year or so ago we changed out the stabilizer bar and she just got an alignment. The stabilizer bar helped at the time, the alignment just the other day did not. How often would you expect to change out something like a stabilizer bar or any other suggestions for what could need fixing / further investigation?
The doc Ive been working with this month is a drag. He seriously brings up how much he regrets marriage/isnt getting laid at least 2-3 times an hour, every hour, all day, every day. He says it with a little laugh, but its a bit over the top. Its like cmon man!

A couple of things first. Make sure all tires have the same psi.
Has she been mudding? If so make sure there isn't any caked on mud on the inside of her wheel.
Did a wheel balance weight fall off?
Tighten everything down up front.
A steering stabilizer will only cover up the symptoms for so long.
Talk to someone over at Edge Automotive 4x4 in Englewood if you are still lost.
If you are down in Colorado Springs or can make it down there talk to James at R&R offroad. Former Army, extremely knowledgeable and won't rob you and talk you into shit you don't need.
Don't go to 4WheelParts without comparing prices with Northridge4x4.com, Tim Kennedy is awesome up there. Make sure you call before ordering online, prices sometimes are better over the phone.
Dave, have you taken it wheeling with her? Has she gone wheeling at all? Is it a Rubicon? When I come back in July and if you and her want to go hit a trail or two let me know

And she really should look into some jeep forums. One on Facebook that is good is JK cOlllllllOrado. People are knowledgeable and helpful without the petty bickering you see on some pages

If he came to Colorado I'd meet up with him and take him to see God's Country. It's beautiful in the mountains and even nicer when only a select few can make it to where you are going.
