This reminded me of the good ol NDL conversations of lore regarding "are you a jersey guy?" and "Ice's- hey I found this awesome website that sells you authentic like jerseys from China for like 75% off!!!"
I think it was Dave and him getting into it back then.

There are so many similarities... both players knocked for being short and having average at best combine stats. I think both were a bit reckless at times on the field in college, but when you watched them play, they were always making plays and around the ball. The Bengals got a steal by getting Burfict UDFA in 2012, I'm hoping the Browns just did the same thing by making "Two Star Scoob," "7th Round Scoob."

For the linebacker position you can't just teach instincts and the ability to make plays. I think Scooby-Doo (autocorrect but I like it) Wright, and the kid from Wisconsin (edit: Schobert) are going to have surprisingly productive NFL careers even if they maybe aren't true 3 down players
Not to hijack the thread... but on current topic...
I current own 2 football jerseys...
Vols Throwback - Peyton Manning
Browns - Chris Spielman
I've never owned a basketball, hockey or soccer jersey and the 1 Reds baseball jersey I have doesn't have a name/numbers on it... I got it because it was a limited edition black jersey. I think I've worn it 2-3x.
I really don't remember the last time I wore either of those jersey's. The Manning jersey was probably 2009 at a Super Bowl party. I haven't worn the Spielman jersey since sometime before Dan hooked me up with some team gear while I was helping on the sidelines.
I have more jerseys than I've ever worn....thanks to ICe's sue! Haha
Earl Campbell Texas
Barry sanders OSU
Andre Rison MSU and Falcons
Michael Irvin Dallas Cowboys
Emmitt Smith Dallas Cowboys
Dez Bryant Cowboys and Cowboys
Eric Metcalf Texas
Justin Blackmon OSU
Ricky Williams Texas
Roy Williams Texas
Priest Holmes Texas
And a few random basketball jerseys...don't knock the site it was a good effort at "legit" jerseys. Besides the Chinese economy needed a bigger boost than the US economy at the time.

Are you a Vols fan or just like Peyton? I am a UT alum so obviously a huge Vols/Peyton fan.

I don't particularly root for any SEC schools. It was more because I like Peyton and thought the jersey looked nice.

I did follow the Vols during the Manning and Martin eras... that's when I started to like Manning. The reason I actually started watching was because of 2 WRs that played HS ball around here, Peerless Price and Andy McCullough. They graduated about 2-3 years before me and had tons of hype in the area. I'm sure Tennessee picked up quite a few Dayton area fans during that time.
Not sure why, but I've never thought of myself as the class of '01 or '04 with college graduation. I guess I just think of that from my high school days.
