I think only top 100 guys count towards the rating. He added 1 guy ranked 57th(I offered the #2 and #13 prospects, but that's not the point of this post so I digress lol.)

I don't know the exact way the points are decided per prospect and his ranking, but I imagine he went up somewhere between 2-3 spots, instead of becoming a top 5 Farm had he worked with me to take my deal. :)

I feel like I've explained this to you no less than 3 times, and every time you respond and say you understand what I'm saying then immediately say something like this that shows you do not understand what I'm saying.

And also, Ryan has made it very clear that getting all those pieces from Corey's Farm was instrumental to make the deal go through, so Billy is not only missing the mark on my thoughts, he's also wrong in his post. :)

Yes getting all those guys to build depth was important but clearly the centerpiece is Kikuchi. He is the best young SP in the game and worth more than the #4 and 13 prospects or whatever it was.

And I do get your frustrations but that was out Slack messages, not what you keep posting about here.

Still can't believe I got this dude 11th in the Boston draft.

He was 3rd on my list of Boston players, and from what I remember, I think only the 2 guys I had ahead of him have shown to be better, Cactus and Mens.

That wasn't the entire offer, or even half of the offer.

Almost everyone I traded for was in SA or lower. I don't need guys almost near the NDL. I need a full rebuild and being able to literally stockpile a list of 16 guys in which 90% are better than then my whole farm was a big factor. Also, I know I can (and will) trade Kikuchi for more specs considering the moment the deal went through I got 5 PMs almost instantly. I know what he is. Top tier, young, amazing contract.

Also, IMHO, Eugene Hill sucks and is a cancerous douche. Jenkins is great though but again, already at NDL.

For whats its worth my scout has Sheltown with 2 greens and 2 yellows and that is it and I do not think Eugene Hill is anything special so you just never know what scouts think.

But Billy doesn't know why I keep obsessing over the ranking of Boston's Farm!!!!

100%. At first I hated it so much but having played in a league without scouts that's honestly one thing I'll never do again. It makes dynamics like this. Now there could be an argument for everyone not getting access to a good scout which is fair but it's nice to be able to control how you see specs a little bit with the tools vs ability.

Which makes me wonder what do you guys all use. I had a Neutral scout but went to Heavily Favor Tools.

I switch it up every once in a while. I think it's good to see all sides of it.

I always prefer ability as they find more MLB starters from what i have seen. Tools finds more of those superstars but more irregular and inconsistent. I have had tools though as well but found them to be more all over the board in comparison to OSA and harder to gauge.

I prefer neutral but mostly just like guys who are legendary at amateurs. I’ve never signed an IFA in my life. I also try to target guys that my scout and OSA agree on and target that before guys my scout likes no matter how much better they are

I'm a huge fan of tools but I'm signing every IFA regardless of potential
