Treasury Secretary seemed to indicate during the press conference that sole proprietors and IC's likely will be able to claim portions of the paycheck protection portion of the act. So you may still be in luck, GeorgeGeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 8:35 am unemployment is at 4% but that number was taken during the beginning/middle of March. The Fed is saying it's closer to 10%.
I saw that. I am waiting for next week when the new program designed for sole proprietor LLC's / IC begins. Definitely hitting up my CPA for this thoughSeeitsaveit13 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 9:49 amTreasury Secretary seemed to indicate during the press conference that sole proprietors and IC's likely will be able to claim portions of the paycheck protection portion of the act. It sucks, but the problem is he did this on blast outside his chain of command and to the public. There's repercussions for that.nick wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 12:33 pm Sailors cheer Navy captain who was removed after pleading for help with coronavirus outbreak
Crozier was removed from duty after a letter he wrote pleading for help for those onboard his ship who are infected with the coronavirus leaked to the media.

100% he should have been relieved IF he was the one that leaked it to the media. It's not the way the military works. It's not a democracy and the rules that you think should be adhered to are much different in the military. For instance, you can go to jail for having an affair, while not against the law for regular civilians it is against the Uniformed Code Military Justice (UCMJ) and can be punished. While I'd venture to say that anyone having an affair has a .000001% of seeing jail time in the military, it's still a possibility whether you (civilians) think it's okay or not.dakshdar wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 12:48 pmIt sucks, but the problem is he did this on blast outside his chain of command and to the public. well if affairs actually put military people in jail then you'd have no navy..GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 1:04 pm100% he should have been relieved IF he was the one that leaked it to the media. It's amazing we can't even get 1% of what's demonstrated in that letter from the Commander in Chief.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 1:46 pm Secretary of the Navy responds on the events that led to the removal of the commanding officer.

If anyone thought we would get that kind of decorum when he was elected they were obviously stupid and didn't pay any attention to the 2016 race. He wasn't elected because of the way he talked, it also won't be the reason he gets reelected.dakshdar wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 1:54 pmIt's amazing we can't even get 1% of what's demonstrated in that letter from the Commander in Chief.GeorgesGoons wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 1:46 pm Secretary of the Navy responds on the events that led to the removal of the commanding officer.
