There is immense hatred between:
1) The Dutch
2) The French
3) The Germans
A lot of it has to do with World War II for the first two.
And VVV, the waxing comment was only for Dole's dumb ass.
Peay, Italy has lost many times in the past few years and I haven't had many qualms with anybody OTHER than the Italians themselves--whether it was shitty tactics, poor team selection, or just a lack of desire (winning can make you complacent, just like any other sport). That said, Italian fans have a legit complaint with Howard Webb's decisions today. And it's not like this is just some random ref--Howard Webb has long been one of the top referees in England, but he was criticized early and OFTEN this season for a lot of controversial calls, including last summer at the Confederation's Cup (he was the ref who missed the blatant handball in the Egypt-Brazil match and then "made up" the call after getting info from the 4th official (which isn't allowed) a few moments later by sending off an Egyptian player and giving a red card.
He also was the ref for SPain-Switzerland (where he missed the Swiss player who scored, being offsides; and missed two clear penalties that should've been given to Spain)....and sadly enough will be the referee in the World Cup final.

Holy shit.
That shot by Honda looked like a Wakefield knuckleball. Goalie went the wrong way and couldn't recover.

I always wondered why Jsense happened to be poting as all his fav teams were playing but then i just realized something.........
You prob watch all these games alone because not a single person can handle your constant bitching and moaning every game (whether it be the U.S., Kentucky, Italy, Jaguars, etc.) You have absolutely no concept of how to take a loss and from reading everything you write in every forum its actually a bit frightening. You are the ultimate fan boy and its turned into nothing but comedy to listen to your holier than thou ass saying peple should be shot, everyone is "fucking" against your teams, etc............let it go and get your stress out by banging your girl or something.

Except you couldn't be further from the truth, I am very good at multitasking

Had quite a few people over for the USA match, in fact....was quite fun. Btw, who did I say was fucking UK when we lost to West Virginia in the Elite Eight? Who have I ever said fucked my Braves in the 90s? Who did I say fucked my Jags in two AFC title games?
Quite often I post on here and a few other places on my phone, I enjoy getting points of view and discussing with people outside my fanbase.

"This year's World Cup is shaping up like WW2. France gave up early, the Yanks arrived late, and England is left to fight the Germans."
Which was followed up by another great, albeit awful, comment: "If only we could have a Germany vs Israel game where Germany wins 6,000,000 to 0."

Jsense, agree with the comments on Webb (mostly) but I don't think that he will get the final. IMO FIFA will likely give it to the Uruguayan ref (forget his name) or the German ref (Stark) If FIFA was going off of how well they have performed, the Final SHOULD go to either the Uruguay Ref, the Uzbek (Irmatov) or the Hungarian (Kassai). The problem with Irmatov and Kassai though is they are FIFA's up and comers, the two youngest refs here. In reality, I think that FIFA will give it to Stark unless Germany makes the final.
Stark and Kassai are awesome, they basically are big on the "let them play" stance.
Edit: Looks like Kassai might get US vs Ghana.

watching the recaps from todays matches.
Man O Man some insane Soccer
That italy/Slovakia match was crazy. Something stick in my crawl though JSENCE.
Why did italy wait until they got scored on to turn it up? They could have killed Slovakia if they come out with an attitude of winning and not playing for a Draw IMO.
Oh Well
GO USA!!!!.

I don't know if they were playing for the draw. We didn't really turn it on until
1) Pirlo came on
2) We went with three in the back and had four forwards
3) Quagliarella and Di Natale started leading the attack
But....that's why Lippi ended up screwing us over. His team selection, his tactics....they were awful.

Ok Bama, I'll remember that when you post "we" in reference to the Tide.
Same thing with you, Champ, in regards to Georgia.
Get over it.

You realize that if you weren't such an obnoxious fanboy people wouldn't react this way to you don't you?
