I think the Tigers have the best rotation in baseball and the Sox survived them after waiting them out.

The Cards rotation is solid but it isnt the Tigers so maybe the Sox are saying anything other than what they saw in the ALCS is a relief.

A lot hanging on the rookie's arm tonight!

thats about as bad as the cards could play.

Their lineup is off for sure if Beltran misses at all.

I'd say STL has the huge advantage tonight with the Wacha-Lackey matchup

My predictions went to crap in the LCSs. With that said, this is a fun matchup. Reds-Cards fans are kind of interesting... a lot of rivals 'hate' the other team, where as these 2 cities seem to have a mutual respect for one another. Of course, I want the Red Sox to win. :-) My favorite team is the Reds... my 2nd favorite team is whoever the Cards are playing.

I really like the make up of the Cards.

They have about 3 5'3 guys that are just scrappy as hell and play good defense (minus last night). They sprinkle in some great veterans in Beltran, Molina, and Holliday and then they have some great arms coming in from the bullpen that throw very hard. They are a likeable bunch.

I really love the Sox team as well. These guys are just fun to watch. Love the bullpen guys. Fun to see Boegarts growing up in the World Series, the beards.

Just a great matchup for a series as both fanbases and stadiums are always into it.

I actually havent watched Wacha pitch at all but have seen his numbers so really interested to see him tonight.

Wacha is like 6'5" and throws mid 90's straight over the top with a nice change and decent curve.

Throws a lot of strikes.

Thought Ortiz's homer was going to be another magical postseason moment but the abomination that was the top half of the 7th washed that away.

See ya in St. Louis!

seems like a 7 game series.

Evenly matched teams. Not sure why Saltalamachia didnt come off the plate for that throw home.

Him also not getting a throw off on that double steal hurt quite a bit too.

Breslow wasnt sharp.

I think Farrell waited one batter too many with Lackey.

Should have brought in Breslow to face Jay as he doesnt hit lefties well.

We all knew the double steal was coming and the bobble killed it as he was probably thrown out as he didnt have a great jump.

D did the cards in the first game, got us in the 2nd.

When Ortiz hit that homer I honestly thought it was over even with a 1 run lead. It was the makings of another great story.

I almost think the opposite about lackey. He's in the flow of the game. let him work through it. Total, after the fact thing.
