Pels Head Coach Monty Williams says the crowd noise at Golden State is "out of hand" and that he's "not sure the decibal level is legal"

Yea, that'll keep the fans silent for game 2!!!

rumors won't settle down about Ollie to Thunder.

that would be another blow to UConn hoops, not sure how many more we can take unless we get into the big 10 or ACC soon

Reminds me of my favorite moment as a lions fan. They were playing the jets and Neil O'Donnell complained that the crowd was too loud. The ref then warned the fans that if they didn't quiet the would give a penalty

It would probably be the ACC. The Big Ten requires membership in the American Association of Universities for all it's members. Nebraska currently doesn't have membership but did when they were invited. They lost their status a few months after the invitation was accepted, mainly due to them not having an on campus medical school or something fairly trivial like that.

As sad as it is, I think MSU is the only Big Ten school without a university hospital

while you're definitely right about the AAU stuff, i find it hard to believe that its such an ironclad thing given they knew Nebraska was losing it when they brought them in.

UConn is a top notch public university (nothing like VVV's prestigious Harvard of the south) but we don't have alot of the stuff required to make AAU status.

US National Rankings of Universities:

#53 University of Texas—Austin
#58 University of Connecticut

Didnt know 58 was "top notch"...almost elite. :)

it's not?

there are like 3000 colleges/universities in the country.... 58 is pretty good and you're including private schools in that list. among public schools its almost always rated in the top 20.

Dallas has the best offense in the NBA this year, no clue how Rondo will fit in.
I didn't like this deal at all but had no clue the Rondo to Dallas would end up being this much of a mess. Dallas has been so much better with any of their other PGs on the court as opposed to Rondo.

Dallas said he's out indefinitely with a back injury told him to go away for the rest of the season.

I've never liked Rondo. Hearing all this yesterday made me smile. Only reason he did good in Boston is because of who he had around him when they were good.

I wish more guys were mic'ed up, I always wonder what they're saying when they trash talk.

Evan Turner, a below average player, goes up for a dunk and Lebron has a sick block denying him the dunk. Then they go at it jawing back and forth for probably almost a minute straight.

The whole time I could only think WTF could Evan Turner possibly be saying

Good thing my Pels didn't have much of a chance on the series.

That blown 20 point 4th quarter was an epic choke job.
