Re: College Football 2016 Thread
Going to my first Husker game in Lincoln this weekend. Glad it's a night game because there will be some tailgating all day long. Been to 3 bowl games so far and 1 away game.

That's a pretty damning article.

I always get weary when I see lame titles like that or even CBS sports writing an article in general but it was pretty interesting to see just how bad the East has been.

Les Miles is the betting favorite to land at Notre Dame next season, with a better shot betting wise to be their coach than Brian Kelly.

After watching your on-going loathing of him, I'm not sure that I'm ready for this.

Going to West Virginia - Texas game saturday on an annual football trip with the boys.
hope the atmosphere is decent, its a really early game which kinda sucks for tailgating purposes but opens up a night go out

Re: College Football 2016 Thread
Even when I was in college, the last thing I wanted to do after tailgating and going to a no game was go out. I was usually passed out by halftime of the 330 games

Wellllll this is Austin and a meaningless game.
I'd be looking forward to the going out part as well from that yuppie crowd.

The #17 Curse
The curse starts at Week 4 with the AP poll.
Week 4 - #17 Arkansas lost to #10 Texas A&M 45-24
Week 5 - #17 Michigan State lost to Indiana 24-21
Week 6 - #17 North Carolina lost to #25 Virginia Tech 34-3
Week 7 - #17 Virginia Tech lost to Syracuse 31-17
Week 8 - #17 Arkansas lost to #21 Auburn 56-3
Week 9 - #17 Utah lost to #4 Washington 31-24
The curse moves to the new official CFP poll at this point
Week 10- #17 Baylor lost to TCU 62-22
Week 11- #17 North Carolina lose to Duke 28-27
Week 12- ?
Fun fact: If you include the Coaches' poll, the streak includes ALL weeks of the season.
Week 1 - #17 USC lost to #1 Alabama 52-6
Week 2 - #17 Oklahoma State lost to Central Michigan 30-27
Week 3 - #17 Ole Miss lost to #1 Alabama 48-43

Behind on the DVR, just starting the LSU game.
LSU has given up 9 TDs in 8 games. Pretty crazy stat for a 5-3 team.

Such a crazy turn of events and just plain luck that he leaves LSU then ends up in our division ruling all of CFB.
If he didn't get the itch to try out the NFL, who knows how many titles we'd have right now.
