So, that move where Curry made Lebron look like an old man trying to roller skate.... double dribble.

it's impossible to explain how good GS offense is to casual fans.

they literally broke the game. with the rules today, you have no options other than to hope they miss. if they ever got a moderately skilled center who was a dedicated rebounder but could also hit consistent jumpers thats the only way they could get even better. Some under used guy like a Tyler Zeller or a Kelly Olynyk would work.

we went thru a period of basketball post MJ that was so horrendous with iso ball and hero ball and then the Spurs took advantage by using ball movement and now these teams are using the realization of math with the 3 pointers to take that Spurs style to the next level that we've gone from the grossest, most inefficient form of the game 20 years ago to the best version of it today. I get people don't like it and think these guys don't play much d, but it really has nothing to do with the defense... they are playing high level defense but the ball moves quicker than a human can and its not possible to guard this type of an offense. and when the ball movement does get guarded because guys stick to their assignment, the athleticism of these guys allows them to blow by the defender like an 'iso' style.

they need to change the rules desperately. i can't imagine the league wants less scoring which would make for a less exciting game but the way it is now we're just going to continue to see this style repeated over and over. better shooters, better ball movement. the first thing i'd change is calling move illegal screens. the way they let guys roll into screens is crazy. guys need an inch to get a corner on a defender and they let these dudes basically grab and pull the guy getting screened.

Completely agree and even interested to see if they move the 3 point line back.

I wish they inserted some kind of hard cap and limited the number of max contracts each team could also give out.

This league is going to be so interesting to see the evolution when Bron leaves and whats next.

Watching this series so far has been painful knowing the Cavs really have no chance when GS is playing the way they are. KD has been magnificent.

The league has to be kicking itself over not smoothing the huge cap increase and letting it all increase in 1 year, which allowed GS to sign KD.

- Hard cap
- No max contracts
- No Draft, everyone enters as a free agent

Would be epic!

One of the things that completely turned me away from NBA basketball. Was so tired of watching 4 guys sit in a corner while one guy played 1 on 1 basketball

I'd love to see them actually call the carry. Everyone does it and it leaves the defender at a disadvantage.

the crazy part is, they had no shot last year either. it will be underrated historically how incredible the 3-1 comeback was by Lebron. This years team is a 100% incredible... last years GS was 99% incredible. that comeback was one of the most amazing things i've witnessed.

At some point there comes a law of diminishing returns... i'm not saying KD doesn't make them much better, he does. But if he (or Curry) got hurt tomorrow, GS would still be overwhelming favorites in the series (even if it started fresh 0-0).

GS is just silly silly good and easily the best team i've ever watched.

good luck with the players agreeing to that. the Chinese basketball association would have a better product than the NBA in 5 years.

Last year in the playoffs the Cavs were +13.9 per 100 possessions with LeBron on the court and 21.1 points worse (-7.2) when he was off the court. This year they are +13.7 per 100 possessions with him on the court and 25.6 points were (-11.9) with him off the court.

Lebron is good.

Not even he is good enough to stop this train.

JR Smith and Tristan Thompson are waste of human skin and they are essentially playing 3 on 5.

i wish they'd do Champions league style like soccer does. promote the global game but i'd doubt they'd do that until NBA had ownership of all the leagues.

I still have hope, but I really don't think the Cavs are in this series at all after those first 2 games.

I hope I am over reacting and the next 2 in Cleveland will be different, but I doubt it.

I think the Cavs lost game 1 and 2 last year by an even bigger margin than this year.

It aint over but KD wasn't here last year so yea its basically over.

At some point in the 2nd quarter last night KD missed a jumper.

I distinctly remember saying to my wife "I know it's not the first, but I honestly cannot remember the last time he missed in this series".

He's been uncanny good.

My wife keeps yelling "why the fuck do we keep leaving them wide open" and I keep having to try and explain that they're not purposefully doing it, it's just the style of offense that GS plays. Too much ball movement to keep up with most of the time.

My wife was on the couch last night with me and casually looked up every now and again and it was always when Bron was just blowing by guys.

She didn't understand why they "weren't doing anything". I said they can't. They just can't!!
