File is uploaded, congrats to all that advanced. Have a fun final 4 with Nashville, Moose Jaw, Baltimore, and Washington. A couple of guys who would be first time winners as well.
Mike said he would most likely be willing to run another round today if the final 4 get exported and are ok with it. I am going straight to bed so I will leave that up to Mike and you guys. Good luck to the final 4.

Moose Jaw over Sheltown in 6
NY over Seattle in 5

Atlanta let me down but solid overall.

Atlanta lost a heartbreaker. Up 1 in the bottom of the 9th in game 7 with two outs and he gives up a walk and a 2 run bomb

So I gotta ask, are we really planning on moving the playoffs to this format indefinitely? I joined this last round for 10 minutes and it felt like a funeral. Does anyone talk? Chat? Or is that the way playoffs are now? I know when we would do them all in 1 night there were usually several involved in the back and forth. Granted it took a few hours but maybe we could break it up into 2 days or something to make it easier on Billy. I dont know
It just seems this is an extreme opposite of immersion creating...

I was curious of all of my changes:
2021 - Round Rock Monarchs - Before I joined the league.
2022 - Dillonvale Predators - My first season in the league.
2027 - Lake Elsinore Storm
2030 - Rebranding to Lake Elsinore Captains
2039 - Dillonvale Predators
2056 - Nashville Hustle
2072 - Cleveland Spiders

This is likely here to stay fellas. People get nostalgic about what they think things used to be but the reality is that out of the 25 or so playoffs I've run by the end it is just me and one other guy and I am usually the only one talking besides the one time Moose Jaw and I had a conversation for 3 hours.
Every round that I have done with this new format we have had a minimum of 7 or 8 people on each time. We have way more participation and people watching. Guys are free to talk. All you gotta do is unmute the mic and talk away.

Hey bully leave me alone, I was pissed. I felt good about that team. So I took a day off. Relax. Just breathe, everything will be ok. Fuck. I lost.

I must have been in there at the wrong time then because while there was like 7 or 8 people, there was nothing more than 7 or 8 people watching your computer screen. Not a single word spoken or chatted.
As for getting nostalgic about the way I "think" it used to be....well, yea. Isn't that the point? To try and get back to where the engagement was alot higher...playoff night used to be fun and something I thought people looked forward to, maybe we're beyond that point.

I agree it is/was fun but it all depended on who made it and how far. It is the same handful of people who talk so no matter the format it will all just depend on if a select few make it far and how drunk I get. That is what drives playoff chatter.

When I go back to night shift maybe I’ll do it the old way a few times but I run it at 4 am and stay awake until 8 am and I am usually running over half the teams and there is no chatter anyways. This way makes it easier, has more people watching and allows guys to export during rounds so it is much better in basically every way

The Only thing i dont like about it is the game to game adjustments. For me dixion was cold going into the playoffs i started him game one only because he hit that pitcher well. He was 3-4 2 home runs 4 rbis. He never saw another AB. We make all that way to have no control at the end kind of sucks. But i get it billy you don't get payed for this and understand it's all on you. Do what you need to do.
