Heh, I'll be Nole's prime example.

I can watch around 40 different college teams and thoroughly enjoy the game, without anything on the line.

I can watch maybe 3-4 teams in the NFL and enjoy it, without anything on the line. But the other 80% of teams would require a small wager to make the game even remotely interesting.

I like both but I LOVE college football way more.

The reason being is I love the college football atmosphere. The bands, the student sections, the crazy offenses being run most of the time.

Ive been to a lot of both types of games and crowds at a regular season college game just obliterate a regular season NFL game. The atmosphere is amazing.

I believe you said the players played like they didn't give a fuck....
VeniVediV1ci wrote:pro's go out to the west coast and play like they don't give a fuck, while college players know every down is important for a future paycheck.

I don't see how that is even close to what Cnasty posted. And I think that's what Riccio said was nonsense...which i agree.

In addition, the rivalries & pageantry of college football make it so much more fan-friendly while the NFL has a cold feeling cuz they kill individuality (which the NCAA is trying to do) and there's too much suit involvement that takes a lot of the fun out of it
if you read the second line

I'd bet it happens in college as well.

Hell, Boise doesn't get many players drafted(which ties into you saying college kids are playing for that future paycheck), so I can say the same reason that Philly loses to Oakland is why Oklahoma lost to Boise a few years ago.

Did Appalachian State have a ton of players playing for a future NFL paycheck when they beat Michigan?

This is quickly turning into one of those usual sceanrios where virtually no one agrees with you, but we're all wrong and of course, you're correct.

i'm not infallible but saying i'm nonsensical is stupid.

I know you guys have been out of college for a while, but try sitting in a class with current college athletes. Everyone thinks they're going to the league. For that reason they all have that in their mind while pros throw goose eggs out there a la the aforementioned and the "rest" games at the end of the season. Oh, and you could say that about every time the St. Louis Cardinals go on the road
