yeah i feel the same way Dave, i d like to think i contribute, then play with AJ, Mike, and them and im just the guy taking all the lead. I personally like the game, can get fusterating hiting someone with a clip then it seems like one shot and your dead. (like bama said in another thread)

same, the biggest frustration for noobs like us is actually getting the drop on people shooting them, then having them turn around and basically 1 shot us and we're dead (seemingly)...but i guess that has to do with the perks and playing enough to get good guns and all that crap

i was ready to give my game after playing for 90 minutes last night

but decided im not gonna be a pussy and gonna play the game off and on through the holidays with and without ndl (without mostly just to "power up") and get some of the "cool shit" and see if that makes it better

getting a good class or strat or whatever the hell its called makes a HUGE difference.

i need hoos or some A-teamer to tell me what i should have as my classes so i am not starting at a disadvantage

is there a thread/post yet for b teamers that lists like in order best guns so we're not using that one that has a wooden shaft

The Famas is your money gun right now. Red dot it or put a silencer on it. I was using a red dot last night. It has very little kick so it’s more like a MW2 gun.

A lot of your subs are like peashooters. I tried the AK last night and constantly got the drop on people only to lose the gun battle. The first few subs that you unlock just aren’t worth it.

The shotty is greatness. It’s very satisfying to blast somebody with it. However, you have no range so you’ll lose any distance battles.

as for perks...buy steady aim.

Im 3rdededing what Buckeye and Nole have said. Thats my biggest flaw is getting the jump on someone and wasting bullets away and one shot and boom, Im done. But I also have the real bad habit of "scoping" EVERYTHING. I try to use the sight everytime instead of shooting from the hip.

It would be awesome to get a list of the best guns on each map or something.

Wasnt there a post somewhere in here with all the classes and best guns to use on certain maps?

It has been way to long to go searching for it and that was always my problem is that I used the exact same gun on every single map...that the "Nasty Crouch and Aim" where I walked around each map in stealth mode instead of run and gun and was a sitting duck.

i dont know if this makes sense but do you have to use the next gun in line to unlock the next.

for instance i use the 2nd gun all the time (forget the name) and i havent bought the 3rd one yet, i want to get the famas but i believe thats the 4th one.

do i have to use the 3rd one to unlock the 4th?

Also, get yourself a claymore. They are a bitch in this game. If you're going to camp a spot then put one somewhere behind you. In Dom, you can put one on the flag or in a path that leads to a flag. You will score kills.

No, they unlock at certain levels. The Famas is level 14. Put a silencer on the 2nd gun and it's much improved. There will be less kick.

isnt r2 how you drop a claymore? for some reason last night everytime i tried using one i threw a fucking grenade

No, you press up first and that loads the claymore. Then you press L1 or R1 (can't rem) to sit it down.

its that the suppressor? its not called silencer is it?

also, did they change how you drop claymores now? i always used them last year and i dont remember having to ever do that

Yea, suppressor is the same thing. They did change the claymore around. They did it because you can carry 3 different types of explosives. So, you gotta load the claymore by pressing up first. You can actually pick the claymore back up and move it to another location if you want.
