I tried to play this morning. It was a 4v4 game and everybody was greened up. Yet, the game still wouldn't start. We all sat there waiting......waiting.

Nice - love to see old maps. Doesn't look like it will have a "large map" option like Crossroads has. Oh well - frags away!

Hell just bring back all the SOCOM 2 maps in HD and youve got a winner. Foxhunt, Sujo, the "hook", Abandoned.
I cant remember the completely Terrorist map were you have the fortress. Although it was a bitch as a seal, I loved sniping bitches peeking there heads above the walls.

I heard there may be a delay in the release. 10/14 is now the target.

^Sandstorm

Sujo was by far the hardest map as a Seal. 20 snipers and 200 mines await you after breaching.

Your right I did forget Sandstorm

SUJO was tough but thats not the one Im thinking of.
The map Im thinking of the one you had to climb up hill and there were really only 2 breach points. You had to plant a bomb underground and without fail there would be one camper with the auto shotgun awaiting you at the bottom of the ramp.

Plus one tower had a Machine gun that would cut people down coming up the hill.

someone help me. What the hell is the name of that map??

ENOWAPI. that bitch was the toughest.

not only did you have the camper with the Shotty, but even if you beat that dude, you have the mines laid out in the dark in lab. of course you cant discount the Fragalicious start when everyone just hurls grenades down upon the spawn.

Hell you could defend that humpty dumpty with a bunch of freaking retards.

ENOWAPI could be very difficult if the defending team all stayed inside and below. Most of the time, you would get a few jumpers that you could pick off and lessen the defense.

I still say SUJO was the hardest and a nightmare. It was dark so you couldn’t see shit. The mines were everywhere, two gun turrets, Snipers all over using night vision. It was almost impossible to win if the defending team was just decent. If they were good you stood almost no chance of getting the bomb planted and often lost half your team before the first breach.

sujo i would say was the hardest with even teams. There really was no chance in hell to win with even teams.

The best maps were, Desert Glory, Night Stalker, Crossroads, Abandoned(socom 1), Blizzard, Fish Hook, Vigilance(fix the lag), The Ruins and Chain Reaction.

Some ok ones were Sujo, Death Trap, Requiem, Blood Lake, SandStorm, The Mixer and Rats Nest.

The ones that sucked donkey balls are: Shadow Falls... if you do not remember that one it is because no one ever wanted to play it lol, Enowapi ... SUCKED... another one that sucked was Blood Lake just because it lagged SO BAD!

I can not wait to see how the maps are this time.... should be a good time!
