Im trying to get there where I have the same guys I play in OOC games but I bounce around so much that I either have them on schedule or just haven't gotten to that point yet. Hoping to change that instead of playing different people every season lol. its fun because you get to meet different guys in the league but I would like to build off of that I guess.

Have any of you ever played a guy that likes to blitz like all the time then complain about you throwing slants and short passes? I think some of the problems I have with some coaches is that they want a game played how they like it and not a game that is played by the rules. Let me explain... If I have a team that is weak in the secondary, do I really expect another coach to take it easy on me because he knows he can exploit my secondary all game long? I fully expect him to throw all over me and its my job on defense to try out some new things to try to stop it.

Or how about the coach that runs on me and runs to the outside alot? If I dont like it how about I start calling some run blitzes with my corners, or outside backers?

My point it is that sure past versions of this game had big flaws, but I think this years version is pretty good. why knock a guy because he does something you dont like or cant fully contain. Thats like saying well since your a good passer and I am not good at defending the pas im gonna knock you on the coaching report. I just would like to see more guys trying to figure stuff out rather than saying its not fair about this or that when it deosnt break the rules.

P.S. None of this was about my opponents this year just hypethetical stuff to think about.

By far my favorite part of the game. I love playing the same people for that reason. You get an idea of how they "want" to play. Both their play and yours is a constant evolution. The chess part is what I like best. All about adaption which some don't get.

Sammy, do not feed the gorilla please. If he thinks you like it, he will do it more.

at this point there are very few times, if ever, I hand out anything less than a 5. I think sometimes people forget how good we have it here in the NDL.
People need to think about what they do that causes someone to do something else in the game. For example, a common theme is he bounced it outside. Well if you are closing off the inside by pinching tackles or rushing the gap with your LB and losing contain where do you expect the ball to be run?

Think about what you do that causes a reaction from the other person......there is very litte these days in the NDl that deserves anything less than a 5.

This was mentioned in my reports, and I honestly never thought it to be an issue (compared to the older versions of the game when guys could cut on a dime).

Well said though
