A guy like Jesus Rivera for example. He is a stud pitcher, but the game doesnt think he is coming out until next year, so it doesnt calculate his budget/demand until next years draft. If you look at every player not listed on the draft que, their demand is slot regardless of the quality of the player.

hey are international players draftable? I was exploring the world and I noticed in japan some stud 20 yr old japanese kids, so I went to offer but couldnt, so I clicked inside and noticed the screen about "Eligible From" High School and signability "Very hard"..

so are they in the draft? or is signing international players a diff time?

No, you can sign them when they become free agents.

So how important is the Scout Ratings of "Overall" and "Potential"? Do those numbers move after time and experience?

Yes they change.

Depends on who you talk to about them, I think they are fairly useless.

I use them for every decision I make. I rarely look at stats.

I use them as a good starting point and then look at individual ratings and stats to see if I like.

I'm all about the stats. The ratings are worthless. You can put a team of 20/20 guys on the field and be just fine. You just have to read the stats history of each player.

- Go fiddle around with the draft room.
- Draft begins Sunday at 12PM
- 25 rounds
- 60 minutes a pick for the first day, 30 minutes a pick from Monday until Wednesday's sim (will be strictly enforced with StatsLab timer)
- Starting Monday, if you auto-pick, StatsLab will continue to auto-pick for you.
- Timer runs from 12PM to 3AM (Eastern)

RL Date - Game Date
fri 9 - 4/25
sun 11 - 5/2
mon 12 - 5/9
wed 14 - 5/16
fri 16 - 5/23
sun 18 - 5/30
Mon 19 - 6/6
Wed 21 - 6/13 (Draft)
So, does the draft list get populated with the file upload? Not sure I will be able to make it at all Sunday.

I think he thinks the draft is done through the game on saturday and not over a few days through the utility.

Oh, OK. Here is what you do if you are planning on missing some time.

1. Go here.
2. Go to your TEAM WAR ROOM and you can see all of the players available to be drafted. Use the drop-down menus to sort. You'll notice that you cannot access the player ratings from this page and that is because we use scouted ratings. You can, however, click on the player's name and it will bring you to the ndlbaseball.com page where some more info is available.
3. Click on the boxes of players that you want to draft and then click ADD TO LIST; they will appear in the box a little bit north of the player stats.
4. Sort them however you like.
5. If you think you will miss the whole draft, set it to AUTO-DRAFT or you can set it to AUTO-DRAFT after a certain round.
6. Enjoy.

I will ultimately open the draft tomorrow night or Sunday. The #1 pick is free to select a player if they want and so on down the list. However, nobody is required to select a player until Sunday at noon. From there on out, everyone gets an hour. If you have it on AUTO-PICK, the game will automatically select a player from you either from your drop-down box or through the StatsLab algorithm. If you wait until the end of the hour and don't make a pick, it will act as if it were on AUTO-PICK and then actually put you on AUTO-PICK until you tell it otherwise.

From Monday to Wednesday, the timer drops to 30 minutes. And, for those who drafted in the old utility, this one will actually pick for you; it isn't just for show.
