I would completely shut down all aspects of my life that weren't inside my house, that's insane.

Yes, you have to go to work.
Luckily for me, I have the ability to work from home, however, many at my company do not.
They can always take a weather day and take vacation time, but everything goes on as normal.

Even if we didn't get any snow we probably wouldn't have school Monday due to the temps. A lot of kids have parents that leave for work before they get on the bus. If they accidentally miss the bus and get locked out of their house they're gonna have a bad time in those temps.

School is already cancelled for local grade, middle, and high schools. I am supposed to go back to college for my last semester on Monday, but my family wont let me leave until Tuesday after the wind chills and cold front has moved out. As for those who work office or management jobs, I am pretty sure my Dad still has to work Monday and Tuesday, so Idk maybe some businesses would shut down, but his company his huge so I doubt it. You're completely right though. Insane. I am moving out of here after I graduate.

I've been to Green Bay on game day and been on a tour of Lambeau Field. What you just said would get you disappeared in that town. No questions asked.

Yeah that'll never happen. Too much "tradition" and history behind Lambeau and outdoor football. Usually they only have 1 or 2 games in this sort of weather a year so it doesn't seem to be a large concern, however this weather is why it took so long to sell out. Not many people want to go and I do not blame them. I was at the Packer v. Steelers game two weeks ago and it was low teens in temperature, but there is no atmosphere like the stadium town of (Ashwaubenon) Green Bay on game day.

Football was meant to be played in this weather!!!

I wonder how much you'd have to pay me to sit through that green Bay game.

Ticket prices are much lower than normal, plus they are offering free coffee and hot chocolate throughout the game. It really isn't that bad if you dress appropriately, aka if you have hunting gear which most Wisconsinites have. I even have the blaze orange hunting gear and I've never hunted in my life. Today my college sent out and email telling us not to come back Monday, and check email for updates on Tuesday.

I don't know how you guys in the midwest are doing, but let me tell you this: New Yorkers are fucking pussies. Don't ever let any New Yorker tell you how tough they are because they are absolutely fucking not. The theatrics and hemming and hawing I have witnessed over the past two days is absolutely fucking embarrassing. We got four inches of snow and it was single-digits.

Tough people would have handled it just fine. These people are fags. You heard it here.

Well we got 10" today and now the temperature is plummeting to below zero. The good news is that it's not supposed to snow again until Wednesday when we have a blizzard warning and are expected to get 8-14" of snow.

Louisville and Indiana getting hammered, and here in Cleveland we still just have rain. Temps haven't dropped yet, so we're good for now. Just means there will be ice UNDER the snow when it finally drops. Supposed to go from 27 to 13 in less than an hour later. Wicked storm to be able to pull that off

Got 2" yesterday and it's supposed to be 0 degrees tomorrow morning, thing that sucks is I have a PT test tomorrow morning. 2 minutes of pushups, situps and then a 2 mile run. I really am getting to old for this.
