Again, if you read the OP like you say you have, you'd know this is not at all the case.

I'm about 100% sure Nick is one of the sheep who didn't read, so this is just great.

Again I say if you want to change your dimensions do it, shouldn't be required by all teams

The commish seems to agree(or actually I don't think he does but he just doesn't want to do all that work, which is understandable lol), and 75% of the league does not agree with you but actually agrees with the stupid request. :)

Ok, the guy who cries and cries...and cries some more about how AJ and I think our opinions are more important than everyone else's is now saying that anyone who doesn't agree with him is a sheep.

Best part is, you probably don't even realize the hypocrisy, just goes right over your head.

sarcasm shel, sheep thing is not my thing, Jesus.

I as a participant in a sim league don't want someone dictating the dimensions of my minor league teams. Point and opinion is the same as what I started with

i was one of the 4 to vote no to changing minor league parks.

plus, your opinion is just of AAA.. so lets change all the leagues because AA/A/SA and R all seem to be running smooth....

lets not address that, id say 50% of the owners, cant properly run a minor league system anyways. LLets look at say, Sheltown, who has 196 players in his minors (total organization is like 160 so u need to cut 40ish ppl_.. and he has 24 yr olds in R ball. So maybe AAA is so fucked cause ML talent that isnt signed by teams go to ppl on MiLC contracts and end up being beasts in AAA? What a ca-razy thought.

So this only happens with hitters, not the pitchers? You're making no sense right now.

Are you putting yourself in that 50%?

Miami has 208 in his organization.

Miami has a 22 year old in Rookie Ball.

Do better.

did u just compare 1 22 yr odl to a R ball team with roughly 15-20 22+ yr olds on it? and then say "do better"???? lmao.

How do we know that making minor league fields, the same park info as the ML fields, will not have an adverse effect on the players development and actually may stunt their growth even more?

That is my biggest issue when guys come up with ideas.
The ideas are great that we talk about different things, but to put it to a vote is senseless until we understand exactly what it is we are asking for.

I am not saying it will, but until it is looked into, it quite possibly could have a worse effect than leaving things as they are now.
You would be asking players that are not ML level, all the way to the rookie league, to be playing in a ballpark that is the same as their ML counterparts.
Just food for thought.

I legit can't think of a single reason why it would.

What would be reasons why that may happen?

Again, if a player who is 18 years old, on your rookie team, is now playing in a park where the fence length is now 410 instead of 325, he may not be able to hit HR's as frequently, which now may stunt the growth rate of his HR attribute.

I don't know if this is how it works, I am simply asking the question.
But until we know the answers to questions like this, we shouldn't be making changes until we understand the impact.

So let's have someone either sim a few seasons and do a comparison or ask the question on the OOTP forums and see what the developers like Markus say.
I can PM him on their forums and see what he says.
