Got to watching a little later than expected... Hibbert on the bench w/5 and Miami up by 21 at the end of 3. I guess I didn't miss anything. :-)

He should have about 7 or 8 fouls lol.

I'm sure most other guys do it and never get called also, but lots of these time he goes "straight up", he's actually going up with his hands but jumping into the player, and it never gets called.

Hell some of the foul calls on him were less of fouls then some of the no calls

The disparity of the vertical plane call in the NBA is pretty bad. I'm sure it's a lot easier for me to get the call right watching on TV than in person, but it seems like often it's just a coin flip for the NBA refs.

I'll get my pick in here first... then I'm going to sleep on my argument...

Spurs in 6. I think they at least get the split in Miami to start and put the Heat on their heels.

S.A. in 5, I think. If they win game 1 it'll be 5.

If they lose game one, and/or game 2 then it'll be SA in 6.

The Heat haven't lost back to back games since January, and you got themlosing possibly 4 straight? :o

If they lose game 2, I think you'll be more like the Swelly from a month ago then thinking they'll win 4 straight.

I've never even heard of DeColo, so that shows my 2013 Spurs knowledge.

more shows how much of a dork I am watching 10 games a night in the middle of February in absolutely pointless NBA games. I actually enjoy that more than I've enjoyed the playoffs to be honest.

pretty sure DeColo actually started for a few games when Parker was down.

I like Blair. I wish he had more of a role, I like his gameday attitude and drive. Too bad hes a big baby, most of the time.

Got in to this argument last night... it was tossed around on some sports shows yesterday...

Lebron vs Jordan, 1 v 1, game to 21 (1s & 2s for you non-knowing streetball fools, not make it take it)... who wins and what is the score?

My argument... Lebron, by at least 5.

I agree that Lebron wins.

While I'm not ready to crown Lebron as the GOAT NBA player, I am ready to crown Lebron as the GOAT 1 on 1 guy. He has like 2 or 3 inches and about 50 ish pounds on MJ. Both at their absolute peaks, he beats MJ.

I'm not saying this is an absolute, but I think a lot of those that would pick MJ are just doing the nostalgic "everything was better in my day" thing.

That's part of the argument I was making.

I've been pretty fortunate to see Lebron play from the time he was about 17 until now. I've seen flaws in his game and I've seen him fix those flaws and even make them into strengths. Today, in his prime, I believe he is the best basketball player that's ever played, one on one or as a team player. When you talk all-time great and bring in career/winnings/etc, sure he has some work to do, but just considering the actual level of play that he brings to the table, I don't think any player in the history of the game keeps it with in 5 pts.

If you're streetballin' you can't overlook Jordan's craftiness. You know he wouldn't hesitate at all in bringing out the dirty tricks, especially if he was down late.

Even though DJ Augustin can make Lebron fly 10' when running through a pick in an NBA, I'm fairly certain that Lebron's physical statue could counter that in a streetball game. :-)
