You've got no legal obligation, so that's a non-issue. If you've met your neighbors, which is probably a good idea living in a cul-de-sac, then you can figure out which jackass it was pretty quick. In fact, you probably don't even have to bring up the letter, just find 1 that seems down to Earth and ask them who the resident dbag is.
We've met the people we live right next door to and the people across the street from us. And maybe 2-3 other people. Everyone we've spoken to was nice, was happy to see a young'ish family with kids moving in, said how great the street and community is, etc. My wife meets more of them than I do since she's walking around with the kids during the day from time to time.

That beach scene in Rio is a place I do not want to be.

I was just there. It looked way more like the first pic than the 2nd one. I think that was during some huge festival or something. It's really just a normal populated beach.

You know what is fun?

Taking a dump in a bathroom that is a single stall/room, you lock the door, and someone knocks on the door, tries to open, sees it is locked, and tries hard to wiggle the handle.

I normally do the fake cough sound to clearly tell them someone is in here even though I want to yell "it's locked for a reason!!"

That one's always been one of my biggest pet peeves. If it's locked, you're not getting in, let it go!!!

Then you always have that split second panic that maybe it's the cleaning lady, and she's gonna use the master key and barge in on you.

I have yet to figure out the logic in having cleaning people clean bathrooms during the work day. The men's room nearest where I sit is closed for 20-30 minutes at 10 am everyday for cleaning. Why doesn't this happen at 5 am?

If it's Dave's cleaning lady she'll be too hammered to get the key in the door.

you can actually see the stages on the beach, it's def. some event.

I never understood why people want to go to tourist attractions during the high tourist seasons. I was in London in January a few years back and thought their were too many tourists then, I can't imagine what it's like when it's nice out.

Probably World Cup... they had some craziness like that then.

Guy I work with jiggled the bathroom door once when I was in there. He then took out a knife blade and unlocked the door from the outside (it was one of those locks where the door has to be shut before it can be locked) . I just looked at him and shook my head. He said since no one said anything when he jiggled the door be thought no one was in there....

so most of you know I studied botany and deal with plants for my job. but I specialized in studying grasses.
I'd say it's probably Buffalo grass. It is very popular in Texas especially in the heart of the state. I wouldn't want a Bermuda grass lawn. It looks great when manicured but it is too high maintenance.

Sounds like he was looking for more than just a open toilet

That's why I always go with the heavy, fake cough as a safety net.

I remain extremely quiet, lift my feet just slightly so they can't see them and see how long it takes them to figure it out.

I have never understood the extra shakes on the door. They just assume that with the extra shake the door is going to unlock and little cherubs are going to be there to wipe their ass when they are done.
