Competitively speaking, the AL is a couple of power house teams and then....everyone else. The NL, while not as many power houses perhaps, is more competitive top to bottom. Granted, the NL East is an embarrassment after the top two teams, but the other divisions make up for that. The Central and West have one team each completely out of playoff contention while the other eight are fighting it out, minus LA who is really just fighting it out for a bye.
Gone are the days when you could say "it's deceptive because Boston is beating up on everyone". Where does your excuse lie now? Are the top AL teams better than the top NL teams? Maybe. We'll find out soon enough I suppose. But as far as the better, more competitive league. It's the NL. Like it or not.

Haha, I posted it and then realized, dope, shelltown might be better
Another article, where the writer clearly has bias and doesn't even bother to know that Nolan Arenado is by far a beast and deserves recognition instead of Kris Bryant is on the DL.
when Nolan leaves the Rockies and either goes to LA or New York everyone will know what a monster he is
Yep, Billy is all Bluster and in your face and no facts!

I mean do you guys not vote all-stars, look at the leaderboards, or anything at all???? I won’t say titles because Boston was a different beast but come on, the talent has been so heavily concentrated in the AL for quite a while. It is getting better as we have new owners who are keeping up and participating more than some guys that left us.
Just because the NL has more teams in the race that does not prove anything. Because Cedar Rapids and some of those are in the race that means something?

Wow. Do you even read any more? Maybe you should go back and look at the title of that article before trying to come back with your argument. I mean good grief son.
