Those are the lights I am going to get. Although I am going to run wire from my fence to roofline in a zigzag pattern first so that the lights themselves aren't drooping/have tension on them. It'll be the next thing I do after the fence.Cnasty wrote:Yea was going to say that wasn't the best idea.
Hang some of those outdoor lights as it changes the entire environment completely and feels fantastic for outdoor bbq's and beer drinking sessions.

Make sure to remove your murder shed before I get there in May as I don't think I can drink casually on that patio staring at that thing.
Re: Random Discussions
I hate that shed so much. Of course it is well built and a beast.Cnasty wrote:Make sure to remove your murder shed before I get there in May as I don't think I can drink casually on that patio staring at that thing.

Ran it this morning homie. It was brutal. My hamstrings called it quits at mile 20. Up to that point I'd kept a nice pace. I finished it but the last 6 miles suuuuucccckkkked.shel311 wrote:Sounds like you're doing some prep for that marathon coming up.LetsGoPeay wrote:God bless tank tops and yoga pants.

well done bro, regardless of time or happiness, its something to be really proud of.
you think it was just because you had never done it before and the adrenaline ran out down the stretch or did your hamstrings literally tighten up?
i remember my first half the last 2 miles i basically blacked out after flying the first 11. and i was well trained for that one. the next 3 i did i wasn't as well trained and i was always in control cause i knew what to expect.
i'm going to try to do a marathon this year, but i want it to be one that matters to me... so either NY or Miami or maybe Providence. i'm not looking forward to it but i have to get it done.

Re: Random Discussions
I've always wanted to do a marathon but never wanted to train for one. I should have done one when I was stationed in Hawaii, best shape of my life. I did do an island relay, 7 man team for 135 miles. We had to hand off the baton at certain points so we all ran different lengths, the guy with the most ran 30 miles and I ran 27 of them. But it was 5 legs so not technically a marathon. Our team finished in 17:55. I remember the sense of pride I had when I finished my last leg, almost had a tear when I handed off the baton.
Now that I am almost 40 it's hard to get back into that kind of shape, especially being as competitive ad I am. I wouldn't want to do one unless I knew I could be under 4 hours, I guess a gear of training and I could get there.

I trained for it pretty well. I had worked up to 22 miles which is what the training plan I was following called for. My hamstrings just tightened up. My right one had been a little testy lately. I tried hard to stay hydrated but a little dehydration might have contributed to it.

The fall isn't even the funniest part, it's basically everything after.

Fondant is pretty much inedible right? Most of the cake people we are meeting with are trying to push that stuff on us since we have an outdoor summer wedding... Can't they adjust the regular frosting/cream mixture so it wouldn't melt or couldn't we have the caterer or someone store it somewhere? It's only a 4" layer on top of a 6" layer since we are doing cupcakes for the rest of the 150-200 guests...I hate this wedding planning shit
