If you would teach me how to sim, I could help you with this. ;)
Seriously, wtf is going on with that?

Schedules not matching. We just really need to do a sim during the morning. Hey trendon, how about doing the sim tomorrow when you wake up and having my ass learn? I am sure AJ would forgive us if we delayed it for a few hours.

I am getting seriously fucking annoyed with this constant badgering. The sim is going right now. Grabbed my laptop.

A few retirees, some signings and releases, and the playoff picture getting clearer.

Holy shit! Someone other than Albany's Lafayette Generals won the Western Development League title! Beverly Hills beat them in five in the title game, ending the Generals' chance at five straight AA titles.

In other news ...

Chula Vista wins the Eastern Development League title for the second straight year.

Fort Myers wins the ABA title while Akron won Short Season for the fourth time in five seasons.

The Rookie League ... well, who the fuck knows.

Also, I just noticed that Bob Elliot won 21 games last season. He did it while striking out only 92 and probably won't hit 100 k's this season despite also winning 20 games. I wonder if that is some sort of record in MLB.

My boss tells me, even though he enjoys me working for him and that the company values my employment, If I dont like how things are ran I can get to steppin. ;) ;) ;)

I have not said much about this needed or WANTED 5 day sims but I gurantee that I will miss the added days if that happens. I barely get these in as it is.

Hell I would almost not want to do Sunday night sim and just do MWF sims with a Thurs thrown in there every now and then if things are going well that week.

I also think that too many may lead to burnout before the ootp12 really gets going. just my opinion

you NDL :F punks quit pushing your weight around. 8-) :geek:

Are you talking about 2 consecutive seasons?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/9839 ... e-hard-way
I immediately figured that Porterfield’s quirky achievement must have been a unique fluke, but to my surprise, I found that, since the end of World War II, the seemingly incongruous feat of winning at least 20 games while recording fewer than 100 strikeouts has been accomplished 16 times.
Perhaps the most remarkable of these strange seasons was Randy Jones’ 1976 campaign, in which the Afroed southpaw copped the Cy Young Award with an NL-leading 22 victories.

Jones, who relied largely on a sinkerball and off-speed pitches, pitched a whopping 315.1 innings in 1976 (facing a league-topping 1,251 batters), yet struck out a mere 93 hitters—a shade under three strikeouts per nine innings.
While sinkerballing his way to Cooperstown, Bob Lemon actually did it twice: in 1953, when he won 21 games on only 98 strikeouts, and in 1956, winning an even 20 with the help of just 94 Ks—an especially odd accomplishment for a one-time strikeout king who seven times finished in the top 10 in whiffs.

Not a great sim for me because I lost GAMES. :(

This is Last Chance Saloon for me; relatively easy schedule this week. Five games out.

I've seen his name; love it. My favorite has got to be "melanoma." And there are, at least, two of them in the league.

I win the first 4 of the week, then get swept by your goofy ass, and somehow don't lost ground to you...

Let's hope AJ isn't an English teacher or he might have a stroke reading this.

Because I had to play two good teams before you and New York can only beat shitty teams.

I think there was some offense meant there... but either way, you're probably gonna get the spot because I play a nasty schedule this week

I simmed five test seasons in 11 & 12 as I was practicing the upgrade. First of all, as I said earlier, New England won the whole thing each time. As for us, I only made it once out of the five.

Also, and this is important, I will be posting a list of players that are listed as "Arbitration eligible, but may be a free agent" soon. The reason for this is I have already seen which players of mine are skipping arbitration and going to UFA status (called "super 2") and I don't think it is fair that only I have seen that. It's a competitive advantage and I will show everyone's list'; although it isn't a very long list.
