For players that do not have a Mariners uniform on...ajalves wrote:the ball jumps out to right in seattle like it does in NY?
No offense? LOL this is the life of a Mariner fan. The only success we had was home grown Griffey and a young Arod. Luck put together a pretty decent pitching staff and a risk on Randy Johnson. Ichiro never really did anything after the 116 win season and then it all blew up. Nobody seems to be able to hit in Safeco wearing a Mariners uniform. It's frustrating to say the least. I'm a freaking baseball coach and fan, and I could count on 1 hand how many Mariners games I have watched and BEEN to over the last 3 or 4 seasons. Honestly...ajalves wrote:I guess to jumpstart guys wanting to go to Seattle (no offense) that they have to over pay a tad. I dont think he is a bad player. But I dont think the Yankees are heartbroken someone else gave him the money.

Montero is terrible. Not sure what they saw in him, not a MLB athlete...nick wrote:awesome player. awful contract, but somewhere Felix is smiling. they're finally adding some O around him. now if Jesus montero wasnt the biggest bust ever..
cause you're getting him at a huge discount at the beginning of the deal and he has negotiating leverage too.ajalves wrote:nick wrote:hes worth it for about 5 yrs then he will eventually decline.
then why not just offer him 5 year 150...
I'll text the Seattle GM and ask him 1 secajalves wrote:nick wrote:hes worth it for about 5 yrs then he will eventually decline.
