Like I said, all Americans should demand answers right now. I don't care what the guy did, you don't suspend his rights as an American. The moment you justify why you're taking rights away from one American, you give the government the power to start picking and choosing.

I'm waiting for the aftermath of this, to see if a debate begins about the "ease" of purchasing something called reloading powder. If that happens, I'll question everything I've been told; until then, I am trusting what I'm being told by the government. That said, I am with Trendon in the fact that I'm not thrilled about the martial law/entering into homes by the military. Regardless of the reason, all it takes is one precedent of suspension of rights to see them all taken away down the road. Especially since it was all for naught.

http://www.ibtimes.com/4chan-false-flag ... ay-1202073#

Was posted on Monday afternoon that the arrest would take place Friday and that legislation would be introduced to restrict the sale of reloading powder, as another way to restrict guns. I saw the evidence of the post on Monday night, and brushed it off as highly unlikely.

The arrest took place Friday, and the legislation was announced late Wednesday, and very quietly. The guy is 2/2 so far. With the photos of guys from Craft International being at the marathon around the time of the bombing, and all the holes in the story of what went down, and now wanting to suspend his right to counsel....things are just starting to really make me uneasy about all this. I scoffed at all of this because I thought there'd never be any way that this could be legit. But now, the questions are piling up in my mind, and their rush to interrogate him and suspending his rights, it's just making me start to wonder about things. Sadly, few will, and if there IS something going on, they'll get away with it.

No, I scoffed at people always believing everything the government tells them without batting an eyelash. I scoffed at some of the things not making sense (like then throwing out the Brown kid's name on the radio), but I didn't think for one moment that this was anything more than two rouge idiots. I questioned some of the things that the press/police said, but only because they didn't add up, not because I thought anybody else was behind this.

When I was shown the Craft photo, I scoffed and doubted they'd show up in gear, figured it was photoshopped. But more and more photos are popping up of them being on site, with backpacks. Why?

As I said, I'm not saying that the police/government are lying, and I'm not saying this stuff has any truth to it. I'm hoping the exact opposite, I'm not sure how I'd handle finding out that someone in this country, this government had any involvement in something this horrific. But I'm also not going to just blindly believe what I'm told. You guys make fun of Trendon for questioning authority and questioning what he's told, but he's right. I remember reading 1984 and Animal Farm and Atlas Shrugged in school. I studied revolutionary history. I know what can happen when a society believes what they're told. And for anybody who thinks that people are stupid for questioning what their government does and thinks that things like this are impossible, I suggest you go study the history of the Nazi party and how they came to power. One of the very first things that helped bring them to power was the Reichstag fire, which many historians today still believe was a "false flag" operation. The Nazis used "false flags" as a way to rally their people into giving up rights, and before they knew it, it was too late.

This week, we've seen essentially a military occupation of Boston, and now the suspension of rights for an American citizen. How many people are stopping to say "hey, wait, that's not a good thing"? Call me stupid, delusional, laugh at me, I don't care. I've seen this story repeated multiple times in history, and I'm going to question everything and anything. If they answer the questions, great....but why won't they answer the questions?

Dead stupid in this instance. This guy committed acts of terror designed to kill innocent Americans. Those IEDs were filled with ball bearings to insure they killed or injured as many people as possible. This guy was naturalized just a couple years ago. As far as you know he became an American citizen just to guarantee him the rights that you want to grant him with the intention of committing this act.
I tell you what, you don't want to be detained or interrogated without counsel, don't set off bombs designed to kill innocent people.

It's not dead stupid. You're allowing the GOVERNMENT to decide when they are allowed to ignore the rules set in place to govern them, and make their own decisions as to when they should be followed.

So sure, many people agree this time. And then the next time, they'll do it for something a little less serious. And it snowballs from there.

Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it. The quote above from Franklin was true then, and it's more true now.

the best part was how it took about 3+ hrs to get him outta a boat, meanwhile a normal citizen stuck his head in when he saw blood and noticed the guy.

anyone else find it crazy that 3 people died and like 180 got hurt? seems like an insane ratio for 2 bombs going off in a crowded area. Oh, and the guy who the 2nd guy threw his backpack at, lost just his legs when the bomb exploded on him.

thats crazy.

what you have to start wondering is, theyve apparently been watching these guys for 5 yrs and questioned them 2 yrs ago, and theres records of them leaving and coming (the older bro).. you dont think they thought that was suspicious?

::conspiracy time::

FBI probably knew this was gonna happen and let it happen, hoping the minimal amount would die (only 3 ppl is pretty good #'s) so they could continue their agenda.

:: end conspiracy ::
