"Crash Test" John Tyler gets the next start vs Miami. Great name for what we're gonna do to New England.

I have a guy I drafted in the 6th round who is killing it in rookie ball. He is hitting .491 thru his first 2 weeks with a 1.206 OPS. Too bad he isn't rated like a stud, no clue where this hitting ability is coming from.

we're 6-26 in our last 32 games, my dog just tore both her knees, the Steelers punted from the 36 yard line and the stock market just had the worst start to year in history.
can you let me win a game, maybe?

got bored so I made a sheet in excel for HOF Monitor and looking at players on my team. Right now Sandoval has a HOF Monitor of 44 and should be going up. Alex Meyers only 20

I would like to personally thank the following teams for NOT voting for All-Stars on the OOTP OU website, it is much appreciated.
How am I supposed to use the results when we have over half the league that did not cast votes?
I said screw it and used the results anyways, but it is things like this that make me not want to waste my time and just let the game generate it and be done.
Chicago Windstorm
Cincinnati Titans
Dallas Texans
Detroit Gas Monkeys
Hillsboro Hops
Houston Alcoholics
Indianapolis Caucasians
Las Vegas Outlaws
Miami Vice
New England Spitters
Ohio Buckeyes
Orange County Ducks
Philadelphia Cheesesteaks
Richmond Greeks
San Diego Bucs
Sheltown Shockers
Toronto Aces
Winterfell Direwolves

While I agree that it sucks that half of us didn't vote, it doesn't surprise me.
- With the way that you run the sims by posting, "starting...," "file loading...," "file loading I won't be around...," etc., I rarely read your blue posts anymore. Once I see that it's in progress, I never come back to the thread. I just wait for the website to update and to get my email. Not saying what you're doing is wrong, just pointing out how I perceive it.
- With that said, looking back, it looks like you made 1 post about it. If you had included a reminder with each sim in between and maybe an update on who was left, I'm sure more would have participated.
- We haven't consistently done All-Star Voting for the last 10+ seasons. It's not a habitual thing or even something that people talk about and look forward to. What is important to you is what will be important to us. That's one of the keys to running leagues (or anything for that matter). This goes back to the last point... I think there was 1 post on it. I could be totally wrong, but I'm not even sure there was a post last season, beyond the sim update, that talked about which league won. There are ways to generate interest in certain aspects of the game without demanding interest. (ex. I used to routinely talk crap about how bad the AL was or how overrated it was... a lot of that was to influence a "rivalry" between the leagues, which helps with interest in the All-Star game)
Just throwing all of that out there, do what you want with it.

I get what you are saying, I do.
I thought the file is uploading would help guys, so they are not trying to hit, download file, 10 times before I have even started uploading the file.
The way guys bitch, whine and complain in this league about no board presence and how they want things sim and more like real life, blah, blah, blah, I thought I wouldn't have to babysit things like all-star voting and award voting, etc.
But I should have known better. I see what Bernie goes through to get everyone to vote for Hall of Fame stuff or what we go through to get the rookie draft completed.
So I get it.
Less posts in blue.
I will be sure to only post in blue once the sim is complete.
And I will be sure to make more posts on stuff like All-Star voting and Award voting, etc.
The way Bernie does with Hall of Fame.
I will start a separate thread when these things come up and I will keep a running tally of the teams left to vote.

You must not have hit submit or something, because the voting site automatically marks teams off once they have submitted a vote.
Were you logged in under the right team when you voted?
Doesn't matter now, just curious.

I don't even recall seeing the voting post but I should have known by the time in the season. Super busy with work at the end of last week and had friends in town over the weekend. I wouldn't even have known about the Sunday sim if Dave hadn't texted me.

I was not moving forward with that sim until I heard from every member. So if it wasn't Dave, it would have been me or someone else reaching out.
But I get it.
