I missed this. What did he say?

I hear them talking about it but from what I gather did he just praise the Patriots a lot? I do not understand why this would be a big deal if he did because he spent 3+ years there opposed to 3 weeks on the Childress led Vikings. He probably wishes he was in New England still because of the significant differences.

He basically said he really misses the Patriots and then said he won't be accepting anymore questions from the media for the rest of the season, adding that he'll be asking his own questions to himself or some shit.

the big deal is he doesn't work for the Patriots anymore. He works for the Vikings. He has a new owner writing him checks every week and he just basically shit on them and said they aren't as good as the Patriots. He spent a good 8 minutes praising everything about New England organization/players/caoches and was basically insinuating that its not the same being in Minnesota. the last part is certainly my perception and not fact, but i think thats how everyone percieved it including the Vikings and they didn't want to deal with a headache in the lockerroom at this important part of their season.

I read it the same way.

The NFL fined him $25k for not answering questions this week on his return to NE. He said that in order to meet the requirement to be available for media, he was going to be conducting his own interviews and answering the questions for the rest of the season. The rule does not require that he answers media questions, just that he is available for post game comments.

Then he saluted Billichek as he walked off stage. Billichek called a press conference thanking Moss.

i'm a sucker for a good conspiracy theory and this is certainly a good one if he ends up back in NE.

I think that is the most likely place he ends up, but like mentioned before, every other team would have to pass on him. I could see a AFC contender claim him but not play him. Why give the Patriots the best deep threat in the last 10 years when you most likely already have to play the game at their place come playoff time.

Although I highly doubt they do it, Panthers need him opposite Smith. Would open up the run game having the deep threat of Moss and the quick hit Smith on the other side. Panthers are in a cost cutting year, so no way they take him.

Chicago
St. Louis
San Francisco
Denver
San Diego
Miami (MAYBE)

I could see those teams picking him up, but like Dave said, after seeing his press conference it's tough to think anyone will jump the gun. With his talent though, i'm sure someone will.

Honestly, if anyone picks him up, it would be New England or Kansas City. That's my guess.

He can't - and won't - go to places that are a mess. Remember, GM AJ Smith in San Diegoshowed Merriman the door. You are out of your mind if you think they'd even think about signing Moss. Meanwhile Rivers goes for another 300 with practice squad guys (and the best tight end in football); they don't need Moss.

Henne hasn't thrown the ball more than 20 yards in his whole career, Denver is imploding, and San Fran is too.
