FBI probably knew this was gonna happen and let it happen, hoping the minimal amount would die (only 3 ppl is pretty good #'s) so they could continue their agenda.

:: end conspiracy ::

That they questioned him shows they were suspicious, but they can't anything without evidence.

 'they were specially trained' .. what kinda training does it take to make the shitty bombs they did and drop 2 of them at peoples feet?

"“We have no doubt the brothers were not acting alone. The devices used to detonate the two bombs were highly sophisticated and not the kind of thing people learn from Google."

is this a joke? lol...

Yep. Let's give them all lawyers so they don't have to talk. Who knows what else this sleeper cell is planning. There could be something on the horizon (or there could be nothing) but let's find out before giving the same rights that they hate us for and scorn but will use to beat the system.
Sorry. I've been reading a lot of Vince Flynn novels.

Nick I'm just messing around. But in all seriousness, I'm curious as to how simple you think the bombs were? I mean there is no way in hell you could or I doubt anybody you know could make one. They weren't just black powder with fuses. They had timers and detonators. They didn't kill a lot of people but they hurt and maimed 180 and those explosions weren't tiny.

Sorry Otis, I understand where you're coming from, but I'm a Constitutionalist, and the founding fathers wrote the Constitution with checks and balances, and they wrote the Bill of Rights for a reason. The moment you allow the government to suspend any of those rights, you've given them the right to do it forever.

This is EXACTLY why a government would use a "false flag" operation--to pull off something so heinous that the people would say "well in THIS instance it's ok, we understand", and bam....the government has their "well, we did it before" moment. But people think about this stuff emotionally and in the now, rather than as what the future consequences would be, and therein lies the problem.

Trust me, emotionally I'd love to see this guy butchered and get no rights at all. But he IS an American citizen. Even people who have been charged and convicted of treason in the past have gotten basic rights.

Really good take on it.....I am just as guilty as anybody of having already convicted the kid, but he hasn't had his day in court yet. He's guilty, and he'll be proven so in court, but he does get his day in court....just like the rest of us should.
Leave aside the fact that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has been convicted of nothing and is thus entitled to a presumption of innocence. The reason to care what happens to him is because how he is treated creates precedent for what the US government is empowered to do, including to US citizens on US soil. When you cheer for the erosion of his rights, you're cheering for the erosion of your own.

question: russia inquired about these 2, 2 years ago. Im assuming even if cleared the FBI would keep this shit on file no? So when they first saw pics, wouldnt they have been able to recognize them, see theyd been questioned before and then went and got them without releasing the info? I mean, the kids were partying the night of it so if they ambushed I doubt they would of got far.

Im under the assumption that they keep stuff like that on file.

I saw the part about him maybe having info about a sleeper cell. I also know that it's just speculation and that there's no proof of that, so the government could say he knows the location of the Loch Ness Monster and use that as "reason" to suspend Miranda. As for the microtext, dunno what it's referring to.

You're doubting that they had to be trained to make these bombs. Yes you can find how to make it in a drawing on the internet but where do you get the components? How do you set up the detonator? They had to have someone show them how to make them so they were in fact "trained".

in grade 10 i made a mask that when controlled with a remote would flicker a light for where you could walk (basically a simple example). im sure these guys could make a device to simply mix the ingredients and cause a B.L.E.V.E

i dont know personally as I am not too interested in bombs but IM sure if I spent 6 months researching I could build a pressure cooker full of chemicals and a couple bags of nails...

Vince Flynn writes novels about terrorists and Mitch Rapp who is an american assassin who targets and kills them.
The book Memorial Day is similar to what we are talking about when it comes to suspending a naturalized American's rights when he is found to be a terrorist. That's what I was referring to. Of course they were trying to locate a nuke and not more pressure cooker bombs but still along the same lines.

He went to Chechnya for six months. If he built the bombs, I'm pretty sure that he could've learned and practiced there.
