Wisconsin and Missouri beat LSU more often than not?

I know it is fun to get snarky with Florida but they have one of the best defenses in the country and all of their losses are against very good teams on the road.

Wisconsin, yes. Missouri, I don't think so. I thought about putting LSU higher but that loss to Ole Miss was confusing as fuck.

Tell me about it. Our defense is worse than most think, even as I'm sure most think it's not the normal LSU defense. It's pretty bad.

It also feels like some time around that Florida game, we decided to run run run, even moreso than normal. All big sets, all runs, and not passing much at all. We did better earlier in the season when it was more of a mix and more intermediate passes on 1st downs and all of that good stuff.

When the scandal broke:

"As long as Clint Hurtt didn't lie to the NCAA, then he will keep his job. If the NCAA finds that he lied to them, then we will terminate his employment"--Louisville AD Tom Jurich

Today, after the NCAA said he lied:

"He told us what happened. We respect the NCAA, but he says he didn't lie, so we believe him"--Louisville AD Tom Jurich

This is the same man who has hired Bobby Petrino, stood by Pitino when he lied about having an affair/abortion, and employs a football coach whose "five morals" (which it's pathetic you need to post a huge sign in your locker room to men saying not to do THESE things) is headed by "honesty".

I'm just sitting back laughing, watching these UofL fans trip over themselves to defend a guy who, if he were in any way associated w UK basketball, they would be crushing

They're winning, of course they're gonna keep em, like most schools would.

That's my point. The same UofL fans who have thumped their chests for three years about how they would never let a cheater work for them (as they claimed w UK/Cal/WWW) are now tripping over themselves defending this coach and how "well he cheated there but not here, it had nothing to do w Bridgewater, etc, etc". It's just comical as could be. I've never seen flip-flopping like this since the Kerry campaign.

I was thinking that might be an exciting matchup. Until I saw the numbers.

Offense: USM # 118 vs UNT # 76 :o
Defense: USM # 62 vs UNT # 65

That might make that Giants and Vikings game look interesting (I left the bar at half time). Predicting a 7-3 USM homecoming victory.

Good schools are good schools, private or not.

Thats why I was wondering why private schools are excluded.
i was just pointing it out. Certainly not excluded at all, I was more going for the value as cost:ranking

Texas was $19k when I started

I still maintain that Southern Mississippi is probably the worst team in I-A. I have yet to watch Georgia State play so that is USM's only hope in my eyes. The USM QB has a good arm, though. He fucking throws it enough, might as well.

North Texas will, wait for it, run a lot. Enjoy!

Just read this and it is certainly an amusing thought: "Who would have thought on Labor Day that THIS kind of discussion would ever take place near the end of October: Missouri and Auburn are the two leading contenders for a BCS at-large berth in the Sugar Bowl."

Anyone else watching the BYU / Boise State game? There have been multiple spots by the refs here that have been way off.
