Huge game next week. It's been years since I've been able to call an upcoming IU game "huge" in a serious fashion.
Indiana has a chance to win their division and the stadium is empty. Do the fans not realize this???
basketball season is here, so, probably not.
The start of the game was delayed due to severe weather so thats part of the reason. The other is that IU fans are very gunshy. We've seen it way too many times. IU wins a game, looks to be turning the corner, and gets obliterated in their next game against a legitimate program. It looks like this time it might be for real (Crap, now we're screwed for real, again. I shouldn't have said that.)

I think we'd all rather see Oregon vs Bama...but please god, anyone but Notre dame.
It'd be an entertaining troll until they get steamrolled by Bama...

You think Oregon would get steamrolled? Or ND? ND absolutely would. I think I'd put my money on Oregon to beat Bama at this point. They're good.
I'm an ND fan referring to ND

Danielson just said Alabama "does not have a Smelley type weapon this year."

Ah. ND fans are rare here.

If USC could tackle they would've stopped that last drive 2 or 3 times.

In college football, rivalries fuel everything. There are no multi-million dollar contracts, there is just pride. Because of that, members of rival team’s can grow to dislike each other and it often separates fan bases. However, sometimes there are just some bonds that cannot be broken by collegiate alliances.
LSU defensive end Sam Montgomery is showing just that. In one of the greatest gestures in recent sports memory, Montgomery will drop his number 99 jersey and wear number 21 for the remainder of the season to honor South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore, who suffered a devastating and career threatening knee injury last weekend.
The news comes from South Carolina beat writer Josh Kendal.
Montgomery is originally from South Carolina and is a close friend of Lattimore’s.
The number change will begin for Montgomery this weekend when the Tigers take on the Alabama Crimson Tide, who are the nation’s top-ranked team. It is one of the biggest games of the year for LSU and perhaps carrying the honor of Lattimore on his back will provide an emotional charge for the Tigers.
Montgomery is considered a first-round draft prospect in the upcoming draft and his play on the field has demonstrated he is worthy of that consideration. This gesture by Montgomery shows that he is a caring, honorable young man off the field and that will go a long way in the eyes of NFL personnel.
In today’s age, character matters, and right now there is not a classier player in college football than Sam Montgomery.
And he's wearing #99

What was that penalty on LSU?
Since when does a guy in motion have to be set? WRs do that all the time and snap it as they're coming across.
Odd.

LSU uses up more timeouts early then I can remember any team doing so in a long time.

LSU's fullback scares me. That is a large man and he looks like he's killed at least three drifters in his life.

Yea, Mett playing his best game of the year against the best D in the nation. Sports are funny like that.
Hell of a game. At half, I almost missed the opening 3rd quarter kickoff just because I was already resided in us losing because our offense just stinks. I'm in complete shock right now, to be honest.

Bama fumbling at 9 is an oasis. Just bad fundamentals. Up 7 at worst and we fumble. Hats off to LSU.

Yup. Play calling for us puzzles me but I am a fan. What the hell do I know? Run ball extremely well but AJ playing bad. Just run. Honestly, LSU gameplan is no different than in January. Just working better due to execution and bama stupidity.
